We have the Spanaway Squawkers- we do have a member from the Bonney Lake area. Our last meeting to sign up is tomorrow May 28 at 3:00 pm. Bring a chicken for fit and show practice. Here is a copy of the email going out tonight if you are interested.

Remember we have another 4H meeting-probably in the rain again- at 3:00 pm tomorrow. Experienced kids please come prepared to help the youngsters. Please print out the forms at the above link and bring them as I must have everything turned in by June 1st. I'm pretty sure the fee is $4. Only kids 9 and up need to fill out forms, the others will show as Primary kids in the fair.

OK so here is what I know about silkies. We bought 4 within about 2 months 2 of em crowed so they goed. then at about 6 month #3 crowed so he goed. At 1 year I had a little chat with #4 I told her that if she didn't lay soon she was gonna have to find a new home. Very next day she layed and continued to lay for 7 days. Now she lays for about 3-4 weeks and then spends 3-4 weeks trying to hatch sawdust.

Just saw on the news that there was a TORNADO very close to me today. near as I can tell it was within about 5 miles.

Oh thank you for telling me this, Ive been down to the second with feeding and shots. Im really glad to know it can be done. Found out today that the eye sugery is'nt 1000. try 44200.00 so thats a big no. I was reaching with the other amount with hubby.
