We have a materials list for lumber & joist hangers & such for the floor of the barn.
So, now we submit the list to several lumber outlets and waite for bids.
This consists of 1x8x12, 6x10x30 beam, 88 joist hangers x8, and 23 sheets of floor deck x 3/4"
And all the nail gun nails & boxes of screws.
And the insulation, and the vapor barrier, which is 30' x 36' of 6 mil plastic.

Everyone remember T-Hi has those 5 adult laying runner ducks, chocolates & blacks for sale with a big stock tank for $75 or B O....alot of us have her number ...instant duck eggs!!!
She could not move the awesome duck house so these ducks & the duck house are still at the old house.
She needs help to move the duck house BTW~~~~~~~~~~~~

Several people make mush for feeding, and use a BIG syringe with plastic tip sut off to allow it to be pressed into the bird's throat.
You can use electrolytes, applesauce, smashed cooked or canned/smashed pumpkin with a bit of fine feed...and smashed (blended) scrambled eggs.

Tube feeding fowl is miles easier than tube feeding mammals, because they have no direct mouth-lung route. I'd take the additional step of sterilizing the syringe (or at least using bleach in the wash solution) to avoid reintroducing the infectious organisms, though.

(Dad's approach to animal feeding got me early: calf buckets were washed out with hot bleach water as soon as they were empty).

Yup!
I have the bleach solution in ALL the water that goes in any of my birds.
I use said 100% solution in a spray bottle & spray all feeders, fonts, tubes & syringes.
Last time we tube fed, we used a syringe w/surgical tube & put it way down almost into the crop.
No choking & drowning that way..but on a chikc I have no tubing that tiny.

I do have dental "irrigation" syringes, also called "curved tip" syringes..dental offices should have them, stop at a dentist's office & beg for one.
The curved tip syringe has it's own plastic curved tip, perfect for a chick, but has an awful tiny hole, maybe have to cut it or open the tip more by hot needle?

Curved tip syringes can sometimes be gotten at Medical Supply places; I've seen them at Kirk's in Lacey.

eta Upon further thought, it's the sort of thing that you should be able to buy online, too. Lots of dental supply stuff on the Health and Beauty part of Amazon for instance.

CL there is a guy right up the road from me about a mile that sells plywood. We got 4x9 sheets of 1" for Michelle's ramp they were like $22.00 each. Sorry I don't have his # right now but can get it for ya. Only problem is the trucking. He doesn't deliver. Yes I have way too many connections.
