So glad they are both ok. They are lucky. Our neighbors across the street had twins about 10 or 12 years ago, a boy and a girl. The Mom was delighted with the girl because her older two kids were boys. She was a beautiful little baby with lots of dark hair. They let the older brother who was maybe 5 or 6 hold the little girl over a tile floor and he dropped her on her head. The Auburn hospital ER sent her home and said she was fine. She died at home a couple days later. Obviously, she wasn't fine. Ambulances zooming into the neighborhood are never a good thing. Such a tragedy.

That poor little boy that dropped her will have to live with that his whole life too. Hope they get him counseling but how could you ever forget something like that. Heartbreaking.

There is an old timer here in kingston that my family has taken in. His kids all live up north near Blaine. Well 8 years ago he lost his wife to *C*, just as he was getting back to a normal ruitine in life. He was running a trac hoe, backing it up to dig a hole. Didn't see his 2 year old Grandson behind the tracktor.

He passed imediately. I dont think I could handle that, pretty sure I would completely lose it. Poor Charlie has had to carry the death of his granchild, on top of the loss of his wife.

Ok time for me to get off my tukas and get some work done outside, whether it is nice or not. Shots for goats today and the DW is teaching one of our buyers how to give said shots, I get to catch them babies. Must muck out the barn too ..

I really caught Broody snooozin this morning. See what shee missed out on. I found it right in Chehalis and got it for my neighbor. It is 8x8x7h Wood framed with metal sides and roof AND insulated with 1 inch foam board and it has a floor. Not bad for a freebie. Well ok it took us an hour to get it out and loaded and Robert had to buy fuel for the truck but still cheeep.

By the way, if you decide what you want in a rooster is a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, I'm definitely one long on those. You could have it for free, even.

Is Ian being a bad boy?

I know for sure I want Wyandotte's. I thought I'd start with a GLW Roo, and a few SLW hens. That gives me sex-link chicks. I really like the BLRW and the Partridge, and ... and ... and ..
