Hi all~~~

I have several purebred cockerals to get rid of or will go the way of freezer camp~~

Ameraucana:
Blue
Black
3 Wheaten
Splash

Any interests, PM me or e-mail or call.

I am busy weed wacking...
Yesterday I was wacking will the big wheeled wacker, and the 4 bolts holding the motor loosened, 2 fell out, the motor was moving and vibrating so I knew something was wrong, then it quit, shaft disconnected.

So I picked up the electric hand held one, and it barely goes through the tall grass....then it quit, no more trim line.

DH has rebuilt the wheeled one, carb & all, and got it running so I can wack the 4 foot tall grass some more

Needless to say, he is on top of the jobs, as fast as I can break stuff~~~~

My nephew in law, who works for Microsoft, wears the exact same outfit! Is it something about the place?

Does he also have the "programmer gut"? Some exceed beer guts.

I think they have a very lenient dress code to make up for their flexible schedule .... any 60 hours a week you wish!

My son does, and the sweats, T-shirt and old running shoes.
And works at Microsoft too~~

He's beyond mere "gut". I think he must weigh four hundred pounds.

I foresee a future where he follows The Programmer's footsteps and ends up thin (if he's one of those lucky people for whom thinness is a genetic possibility) by way of diabetes and several heart surgeries. The Programmer is back to the same light weight he was when I met him, when he was a month short of twenty, minus the pound and a half of waist length hair from the crown of his head forward.

I'm having a slow day: the spousal unit has incission pain, again, and the recurrence of nerve pain in his lower back. He needs to get back to aquaerobics class so he can start the day without needing massage and capsacin ointment on his pain cneters. Ian is going to be cranky that nobody's talked to him yet: he is convinced that everyone in the family needs to say hello and offer him peanuts or the new Best Thing Ever, blooming orchard grass, preferably before they bother to get dressed for work.

Grease him up with Preperation H, soothes the pain.

and on my days off.. my Darlin' Husband will come home and ask how was my day and what did I do? me: oh.. just puttered.. lol!!

That is what I call a "PUT AND TAKE" day.
You actually spend the whole day doing stuff, and never get a chance to sit & eat or rest, but never actually get anything done.

it's amazing what you can accomplish puttering, but you never get any credit, because it only shows when you don't do it. I'm a confirmed putterer.

Putterers unite!
It's amazing how awful this place looks when I stop puttering.

DH's boss told me I have adult ADD because I have a million started projects, but it takes me forever to get any of them complete because on the way upstaris to retrieve a pair of scissors, I am distracted by a smudged mirror so I bo back down to get the amonia from the laundry room, but then I see the load in the washer is done, so I go out to hang it, but then I hear a hen do her egg song so I go into the coop to gather eggs, see a waterer that is empty, take it back to the laundry room for a scrub, remember the amonia, head back up the staris and see some laundry on the floor, and when I pick it up and find the pair of scissors that I needed, only I can no longer remember what I needed them for, so I bring them down and put them on the kitchen counter to remind me, but pass the window that looks out at the laundry line and I see a chicken in the basket of clean wet clothes, so without paying any attention to where I am setting them, I put the scissors down so I can go get the chicken out of the basket .....

Sometimes I grab a few eggs out of a nest box while on feed bucket patrol...and go on to the next coop, then start some laundry, then cutting herbs & get the dehydrator going, then go get lunch going, then sit down to eat and SQUISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, happened only 1 time so far, and glad my phone was in the other pocket!!!!!!!!!

Put this here, take that there...
