Look up Muppets 'Carol of the Bells' and Beeker's 'Ode to Joy'. Our DSs love both of those! So funny to watch them watching it!

I've been letting my 7 week olds out to free range during the day with the big girls which has been going really well, but of course it's a distraction because I end up watching them for much too long. I did notice the other day that a lone crow flew low over the yard and before I even had a chance to notice it the chicks dove in two different directions. Half ran for cover under the Japanese maple, and the others for the covered run. I praised them for being such smart chicks. Witnessing how effective their instincts to hide from potential predators were even though they've only been outside for a few days made me feel a lot better about them being out on their own for a few hours at a time.
They are also learning to duck and scatter out of the big girls way just to be safe, but I am very happy with the progress we are making to get along.

I took 90 photos of them all the other day when we were enjoying the sunshine, but it's taking me a while to edit the few I like enough to share.
