Hey guys! I'm officially done with work until DECEMBER 6th!

I worked a 1/2 day today and now I'm home...bored already, LOL Unfortunately, only 1 month of the 18 weeks off is paid.

So I'll be selling hatching eggs, necklaces, artwork and whatever else I find around here to help supplement my DH's teacher salary during that time because I also found out I'm in charge of paying my own insurance premiums during the unpaid leave so I don't lose my health insurance.

I'm actually about to go out & attempt to weed my garden...it hasn't been done since my 90 year old grandmother did it the weekend of my baby shower.

DH has been too busy helping get ready for his sister's wedding at his parents' house.

The guy with the white Houdan rooster is actually going to drive him over here on Thursday! So I appreciate all of the offers for assistance with him...but I think he's taken care of. The issue I will have now is where to quarantine him when he gets here to make sure my DH doesn't forget about him while the little roo is in quarantine, LOL

That said--does anyone want a bantam mottled Houdan rooster? He's gorgeous....not friendly (but not at all mean, either)...just standoffish. I don't want to have to eat him....

I can include some FREE bantam houdan hatching eggs along with him (from two different pens) so you'll end up with some hens for him.

18 years ago bought my wedding rings fromHarrison Jewlery. Also, went every year to the store's "lady's night" before Christmas party. Always a blast. I was so sad to see them go.

I'm glad to hear you liked them. The retiree, Dean, is enjoying his free time now. He just took a motorcycle trip to Alaska I hear. Barb (the teacher) Christianson's maiden name is Harrison. You might have seen her in the store sometimes. Another of their (younger) cousins, Chris Harrison, owns the jewelry store in Ephrata. He's really good too. It's a family thing! There were a lot of watchmaker/jewelers in our family beginning in the late 30s or early 40s. My dad was one of them, he owned a store in Tonasket in the 50s and 60s -- thus the reason I was born there.

Chris is the last of the bunch, unless there's a new generation waiting in the wings.
