Are you seeing broken shells? I thought I had an egg eater but there was no broken shell or yoke on beaks. Turns out I had a chicken laying a super soft shell so when another chicken went in there steping on the soft egg it just broke. Young pullets can do this. It happened to one of my Cuckoo Marans. She got herself balanced out & all was normal after a couple of weeks. Just a thought.

No shell. but a wet yoke colored wet spot that was egg shaped. Yesturday I had 3 eggs in the nest and found a forth on the floor all cracked but soft looking. I threw that out. Then went back later to get the other eggs and could only find 2. And a a wet spot in the shape of an egg. But no shell. so who ever is doing it is eating the whole thing.

Really sounds like its a soft shell problem more then an egg eating problem. Sure once the inside is exposed they will eat it but what you need to find out is if they are actually breaking an egg to get to it or is the shell so soft that it breaks on their own & they eat it? Mine was just a bag around the egg & no real shell, it was easily broken so they would just kick it or move it with their beak or when they layed it that it would break when it hit the nest. Once the soft shell problem settled down all egg eating stopped.

CR -- ice wine to me tastes like honey ...

mmm .. you DO like honey, dontcha ?? (and I don't mean mead = wine made from honey)

yes, it's unusual to find ice wine any place other than the winery itself, or a specialty wine store

and yes, it's usually at a premium price since it takes more grapes to make the same amount of wine ...

HOWEVER, if you make your own dandelion wine, and use golden raisins in it, you can come up with a quite-similar-tasting libation

I have some of that which is coming up on 30 years old, and it still tastes splendid

I didn't have enough standard Sunmaid raisins, nor currants, to make the recipe I was given, so I used mainly golden raisins I'd gotten a year or two earlier, to make fruitcake .... serendipity !

Been there, done that. I'm kinda in the dog house over an indoor rabbit hutch I bought, found someone on CL to build me one for $300 with half down now. I had the cash for half & hubby will be paid when its finished so no big deal to me but I should have talked to him first I do agree with hubby there. We have a bit of debt that he wanted paid down. I'm getting this hutch for my DD's birthday in a little over a week. Her bunny has out grown his pen, big boy.
Just remember when it comes to texting, talk to him about being clear on what he wants. Saying No Big Deal means he's giving you the choice so he really should have excepted your choice. Just remember to talk this through or it does get bottled up, believe me I know. I'm going to a councelor for all my bottled up stuff, we are finding things from way back in my early school days that we are working through.
