Had a very nice dinner with one of my DDs tonight at Olive Garden. (thank god for gift cards!!) Haven't had dinner in a restraunt in a long time!

Afterwards we went and looked thru the windows of some used cars in Puyallup.

------------------------ If anyone has a good running AUTOMATIC car for sale in the $1000-1500 range let me know!!!---------------------------

My girls have a cheer schedule that would make any adult cry! And since I wasn't able to get transfered to Sumner school district I can not make it home in time to get them to all their functions. Plus with 1 DD starting the college running start program she has to drive herself to and from school. Once again because I will be in Kent and Pierce Com College is in Puyallup. Anyone??

Cool, Thanks for the link!

I have an old Kentucky Housewives cookbook with no measurements. There are surprisingly few possum recipes in it!

I'm interested in the soda syrups - we have a "SodaStream" but I do not like the syrups they sell for it. I mostly use it to carbonate water for mojitos; I finally found a use for all that mint in our yard! Today we used the excess syrup that we heated the peaches up in; it was good!

Just be aware of what the ingredients are... the recipes are from just after they stopped putting cocaine and opiates in soda... so all ingredients might not be healthy

I remember Ward Cove Packing, but don't think I ever had a connection to it.
The names don't ring a bell. I graduated from KHS in '79. Left shortly thereafter.
Now TEMSCO
Do the names Bill Hornbaker, Roy Hornbaker ring any bells for you? Dad & Brother.

Would KHS be from Burien?

Kaneke,
Do you have connections to Ketchikan? That's where I'm from. Have we had this conversation before?

Hi Imp....a few pages back I posted:

(something to the effect) I was concerned about the poo of my chickens. I went and did a search on chicken poo and found a web site that you had posted a link to that showed (had actual photos) of different kinds of "normal"chicken poo. I now do not have to worry. What a wonderful link. I learned so much. Thank you for posting that...I think you posted in something like 2009.

4,3,1,2,
I have posted that link many times. Glad it helped you. Now so many people have it, I rarely get to post it anymore.

4,3,1,2, & Rainwolf,
cmsdvm in Tacoma does the caponizing in the clinic.

Hey CR,
I would like a raccoon proof cover for my garden pond. Is this something you might be interested in doing?

So if they can't crow they can still make fertle eggs right???

I don't think so. Removing the gonads, near the spine, makes me think the chicken version of eunuchs. More of a beautiful bird without the roos downfall.

When I first got chickens I asked my vet if she could Casterate my 3 roosters, she said no that she had done it a few time and the bird died. Than years later she called me up and say hay I can do that now. But they were all gone by than..
