Someone, I think one of the WA BYC'ers posted a response to that question the other day which is not quite appropriate for this thread. Had to do with buying the whole pig when all you wanted was... I'm sorry that's all I can say.

I did not remember on reading it here...I thought it was on FB....but I do believe that was what he was referring to. Appropriate or not? Well, that is a personal matter. But we might get in trouble if we post the "real" quote.

I wonder if I'll need to do this around the bottom of my coop. Last winter here seemed fairly mild compared to Midwestern winters.

Had Parent/teacher conferences today (spent the last 4 hours there)....talked with the "building trades" teacher. Told him I wanted some small individual insulated coops. Did anyone need a "project". Guess what...he told me to send him designs and ideas by Monday. I want to have several small sized coops for more seramas. I am so excited......

Are you kidding?
I am the one to field dress, skin, & he helps me hang.
During the whole recovery & feild dress, he acts JUST EXACTLY like a new hubby with a wife about to birth!!!!!!!!!
He does not know what to do.....buy I will keep him, cuz he is warm, fuzzy & has a nice %^&
Besides that, he is a helluva shot!!!!!!!

OK, I guess I better go, but, wanted to tell Julia, we have waited & now got enough meat so we need not go in on the quarter.
I still am interested in 10# unseasoned pork sausage from sister.....but time goes on and it is still not happening~~~~~~~
