That kind of hunting is called "driving" and it highly illegal.
You need to call the F&W line.
You CANNOT drive a herd from one property to another where you can then legally shoot it.
You cannot shoot a firarm in your type neighborhood, that is why they drop a guy off above & drive the herd down to a place where they CAN shoot it.
It is driving, and it is illegal.
You are supposed to pick a blind, get permission in a sfe area to discharge a firearm, and then you sit in it & waite.
Same for Elk.
Alot of guys team up on Elk, and drive them with quad-runners to the area where they can legally shoot.
It is illegal to do so!
Report it to Fish & Wildlife!
Alot of hunters get desperate now, last day is the 31st........
And ALL hunters MUST wear a safety orange vest & usually a cap.
NO hunter can legally hunt in just camo.
Get a license # if you can, and call F&W!!!!!!!!

mmm--- if you are shooting black powder (muzzleloaders) and it is muzzleloader season and a location approved for that ... you can wear camo
[ditto for bowhunting (archery) ]

which is why I do my hunting during those times; I hear too many people talk about "a great sound shot" .. so I avoid "modern firearm" season and areas, like the plague

especially good when you win one of the special areas, when you are the ONLY hunter allowed on that piece of property; often this is a tree farm so the deer have been browsing on fir seedlings, makes for a nice tasting venison

luckily we are in a no-shoot area here (in some ways lucky anyway) so no one will be shooting my chickens "thinking" they are turkeys

the deer come out and stand at the end of our access, thumb their noses at us, since they know we cannot shoot them here

One year I gave our Fraser Fir Christmas tree to our goats, they have the best breath I have ever had the pleasure of smelling.

It's funny how little it takes to make a chickie mama proud and happy. I noticed yesterday that Ramona followed her flock out into the field for the first time, instead of hanging out by the runs.

That's too funny Ron! Shannon is my little miss social girl, when she's with her peeps, she can talk your ear off!!

Robin, I just told DH what you said about our hunter dude. If he comes back, we'll put a call in to F&W for sure.

And if anyone is in a baking mood, now that Robin got all our sweet tooth's going, I'm going to share what I am making tomorrow. We are going to some friends for Beer/Pizza & Pinnochle night, and I am bringing dessert. I'm making Cinnamon Roll Pumpkin Vanilla Sheet Cake, which looks absolutely divine

Ridiculous in a neighborhood where there are kids and residents around.

A slight difference on the hunter orange. Anyone who is hunting with modern firearm or is hunting archery or muzzel loader in an area that is currently open to modern firearm is required to wear a minium of 400 square inches of hunter orange. There are a couple of GMU's that have some other rules but that is the general.

I already had baking to do today or else you guys would have sent me to the store and had me in the kitchen after putting all these sweet ideas in my head. I'm making biscotti today using my beloved Italian grandmother's recipe. We're having a big crush (2500 lbs. of eastern WA grapes) at the wine shop on Sunday with Italian sausage sandwiches and other goodies. Wine tasting, italian music on the stereo (love me some Frankie and Dean!) and I always make either biscotti or pizzelle. SO good with your coffee in the morning or your red wine in the evening. Biscotti and chocolate port is one of my favorite combos...
Happy Baking/cleaning/etc. to everyone on this gray day!
