I thought about that but wondered if there was a statute of limitations. From what the pump guy said, it probably passed inspection because all they look for is static pressure which would be around 30 1/2? and it tested out ok but we were the only house on it at the time. The pump guy left the old pump here. I mentioned going to the contractor but he said he thought he was DEAD! He was kind of old back then and adding 19 years, he probably would be dead. Everybody knows him though and he doesn't have a good reputation. We found that out later. The electrical in the house is all screwed up. We finally quit trying to put up Christmas lights. I usually blow fuses everytime I vacuum. The sockets are CHEAP! We have gradually been replacing them.

Sounds like the guy who built my parents house, but he went to Brazil on completion. He cut corners like not putting flashing around windows. They leaked every time it rained.

If the rain lets up, I need to go clear the sidewalk.

It is a pretty nasty day. Im glad I got the flock fed before it started raining. I had all sorts of energy this morning. Was up and out of the house by 7, back home by 8:30 with enough time to find out my coffee pot quit working. lol Couldnt find the perculator, so just boiled up some coffee in a sauce pan, then strain. lol Farrier showed up at 9:05, and now I'm beat. Been trying to work through having a rib out of place. Its definately not comfortable to move to much. But I will survive without too much complaining. Day four already though, but I cant afford a vistit to the chyropractor. "sp?" So I work through it. Im really hoping that the rain lets up around 3. I hate walking down the clay mud hill at the barn to bring horses in for the night...

Oh well at least barn chores were done this morning.

Now I have to try and get some energy to clean my house... Sand, leaves, toys, DD's chlothing, and dogs everywhere! What a mess we make in a day...

Are there any stretches you could do for that rib?

If you don't garden in the rain, you don't garden in Seattle. I don't need it to stop, just to let up.

Ive been doing stretches, slow deliberate stretches, with VERY careful breathing... I really wish I could use an inversian table, but am not sure if that would be a good idea to do while preggers. Also I can only stretch so far "forward and down" before I cant breath anylonger... Dang expanding belly. lol

I can emagine! We have three people, three dogs, and 2 birds residing in our house. lol Im glad the main living area isnt carpeted! At least the lenolium "sp?" is easy to sweep. It also amazes me to this day how much hair Dusty sheds in a couple hours! I swear everytime this old dog breaths she lets loose a few dozen hairs! Big furball that she is!

Great on the biopsy, and the chicken loving buyer. Would you leave them?

Heck yeah, if it helped sell my house!

I can always buy more eggs from my BYC buddies! And it gives me an excuse to hatch more!

Oh come on like ya really need a reason to hatch. I was informed last night we "NEED" some eggs to hatch so we can put them under our silkie.

The Hamburgs are getting a little extra help with the weather today- apparently the plastic on their run is creating some kind of wind block, and they've got about six very large shorthorns lined up right next to them. For anyone who has not stood in the middle of a herd of cattle in the winter, there's 10-20 degrees of radiant heat in a group like that. I'm SERIOUSLY tempted to make a shed next to the chicken run, now that I've seen this event.

Okay, I have a little catching up to do. Again, even though I don't respond to everyone's individual messages, I am reading and feeling joy, sadness, relief, hope, empathy and gratitude right along with all of you for all the events in your lives. I think of you often throughout the day, mention each of you during various conversations, "Well so and so on the BYC forum was saying the other day..." and sometimes answer a chicken question for myself when I remember what one of you have advised in the past. It's like I'm carrying around a pocket full of BYC buddies with me everywhere I go. Not a bad thing to have.

Broody, still keeping fingers crossed for your houses, the one you want to sell and the one you want to buy. Wouldn't it be funny if your chickens were a deciding factor in whether or not the house sold? YAY for chickens!
You are close in our thoughts, hoping along with you for best results of your biopsy.

Hey you better be nice to that little red. In fact I think ya should bring that little doll out to stay at my house.
