Remember A A. Any word on yer house and when Ya want me to deliver this new coop/coops ??

Sorry CR! I talked to DH but didn't get a definitive answer. We are also dealing with the oldest DD. Seems she is tired of playing by our rules and wants to move out. Of course there is a young man involved who is a bad influence. We love her and don't want to see her get hurt! I know who has my back but it is still heart-wrenching all the same.

Hey just teasing wiff ya. It is setting here on the trailer whenever ya are ready for it to be delivered where ever.

We had a mini ice storm around noon today then it warmed and turned to rain before 4:00 so we have hope for tomorrow so we can get the door finished for the bantam coop. thats all that's left, we have a old dog exercise pen we used when showing that I'll put up around the coop, then good till spring.

Weird. I think we're in the convergence zone too, and it didn't seem that cold. Ari and I hung out with the chickens a couple of times. We even left to pick up DS from school (by car) and forgot coats. The rain picked up about that time though, which wasn't fun.

I keep looking out at the backyard and imagining the Dominique appearing there. It never occurred to me that she could have gotten away and hidden somewhere. I suppose it's unlikely that she'll show.

It is pre cancerous so there is lots of time to get it out of there!

It was really odd when I was outside at four filling feed pans and replacing the suet box and putting a few zip-ties in the Wyandotte run (I had to do SOMETHING, darn it!): there was sideways rain and gusts that lifted the tarp on the sheep pen (which he did not approve of, let me tell you!) but when I was looking up to do the ties I could see up through layers of flying clouds to blue sky every once in a while.

All I've been doing today is feeding stuff: cats, chicks, cats, me, adult chickens (brown rice and chopped apples) cats, or rather just Stewie that time, chickens (refill grain feeders), me (well, a cup of plain mint tea no milk or sugar) and now I'm in the middle of making what we call "Texas Red arm roast" which has garlic, cumin, and chipotle sauce and is nested in quartered onions. It'll be burrito filling after tonight, I need more protein and capsacin!

I was reading here while pealing garlic.

it is SNOWING here...
boo - hissss - boooo - hissssss
Roads are snotty. Even with this little bit we got and it is still coming down.
I was SUPPOSE to go to Wenatchee tomorrow....we will what road condition is in the morning. May have to cancel.
Suppose to get another day of snow and really-really cold weather. Guess I will close the pop doors on those really cold days.
