I thought someone might say that...which is why I said BIG polka dots. Have you ever seen that Country Village chicken?

Here's a picture, not mine:

Yes, I've been there. There's an antique store.

Oh, that place! Right up on the King/Snohomish line, right? I went to a King County Iris Society sale there once, long ago whan I still thought I could deal with bearded iris. Verinstange-but-interesting little center.

Hmmm...yeah. It's on Bothell-Everett Hwy. It's a slightly cheesy place, but it's fun to take the kids there sometimes.

I love that chicken and the rock that looks like a yellow egg! They had a shop there called "Tiffany Anns" that I told my daycare kids it was my shop cause it has my name on it! I take trips to the "Yakima Fruit Market" on a weekly basis. They buy my birdhouses and birdfeeders and various other garden furniture and sell it there so I make it a point to shop for plants and produce.

and Dana, I still have your superduper flashlight/egg candler, hoped to get it to you before now, but will certainly return it at Chehalis; Julia felt the one she already had was strong enough (I hear tell that it wasn't)

I was successful in my bator raid. My DSiL bought a new Brinsea bator not long ago, and she is letting me use it for the 17 Silkie eggs that came on Saturday. I am still leery about the reliability of my Hovabator. I am really hoping that more than one will hatch.

I hate it when deer are hit and left to rot too. But I would tell your neighbor to not broadcast what he did. It's illegal in WA to pick up roadkill. My BF hit a deer several years ago and decided not to waste it. Another friend picked up a coon off the road once. Both of them were seen by someone and the police called. Both had wardens show up at their doors and both paid hefty fines. Don't remember how much but it was absurd.

God Bless,

This gentleman had a deer tab, different issue altogether.
I look at the whole thing much diferently than you,
I look at it as God wanted him to have THAT buck.
Right there, mortally wounded but not unfit to process, on his front lawn.
He tagged it, all legal.

See this is my point. You would expect to see a new group not have things bettter laid out but for a group that has been doing this for so long. They should have it together far better than this.

With out an approx head count how is the catering company supposed to know how much food to prepare so all get fed with out excessive leftovers.

I do believe they go to a buffet? And we have a big room? Or am I confused with a MT show?

None of which has anything to do with LUNCH.
And as far as I am concerned, as the show catalog states, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yeah baby, me & all my buddies will be on our own in a corner having a pot luck lunch LIKE LAST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am having a hard time keeping up here.
But after what Kristina & Terra have told me, I fully intend to bring Icelandics to the show for a display.
I will bring my table & a big crate.
I may need help....elbow grease & such..but after being fuel-fired by Monte Bowen & Kristina, & many others, why the heck am I backing down to HIM???????????
So, plans are going on as usual
I get an MRI tomorrow, and after a few days should know the full extent of the injury.
In the mean time, loading Icees into a crate is easy.
Bathing 2 BIG WHITE TURKEYS is gonna be my issue

I hurt, but I am walking with no crutches, albeit small steps..but you can fins me far from the house on occasion.
I am trying to be a good girl & stay paralell & leg elevated above the head......BUTTTTTTT
I am ancy beyond words.........ancy & stiff & have too much energy, cannot concentrate on a book..or anything..........GOTTA MOVE.
I DID just a few days ago buy a 100-count rag paper & envelopes to paint...I intend to paint chickens, as I told Monte.
BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT (there is that butt again) I lean towards wildlife so much....so Christmas Cards will be what I am feeling at the time~~~~~~~~
Let's not let HIM stop us from getting together & having a great time~~~~~~~~~

The Yakima Fruit Market is nice. I've been there a couple of times. It's just far enough away that it seems like a hassle to go on a regular basis though.

So...I have several mystery eggs in the 'bator which could hatch in about a week or so. It's kind of interesting to be trying this with mystery eggs. Maybe I should look through the grocery egg discussions and see if anyone has said what they hatched from Whole Foods.
