Redreiner, this is where I get my Denagard, use in their drinking water.
I use it, Cloverleaf (i think) uses it, Tailfeatherz uses it, Pipsnpeeps uses it.

http://www.qcsupply.com/denagard-liquid-concentrate-novartis.html

If this does not work, then use Tylan, IM injection.
But like I said, I expect the bird to build immunity to Mycoplasma, and if it doesn't, and repeatedly is sick..then cull the bird.
Do not use it for breeding as Mycoplasma can be carried down throught the egg into the chick.
Every sneezing bird I have gets Denagard, isolated & a green leg ring.
After they are better & replaced with the flock, and come down with "it" again, they are goners.
Seriously, testing here in Washington for typ-pollarium is stupid, (NPIP)
What they need to test for here is Mycoplasma Gallisepticum.
There are 2 diseases that hurt us bad here in WA state, 1 is MG and the other is Marek's Disease/ there are others, but unless you are taking your birds down south or the interior of the USA you have no need to worry about them, told to me my pipsnpeeps.
She is of course correct in that.
the reason why is, because that disease is not here!
I have scads of vaccine & others (Newcastles...) and will not use them as they are not here.

I dont know what she has, she started with the sneezes and then it got really cold and started getting congested, none of the feed stores have any tylan now, not even the powder form. the only thing they have is the duramycin powder. so I got some baytril from the horse vet, she is doing much better. she was always active and eating and no problems, I just didnt like the congestion setting in. she is quite peeved however at being isolated and how dare I drop those things down her gullet...lol SQWAAAAAACK!

Baytril is an excellent broad spectrum antibiotic, and she should do well, however, if she has MG, it will not save her, keep her isolated.
Mutual drinking water is how it can spread lightening fast, that is why we do the bleach solution in all our coops' water.

I dont know what MG is, air sac disease? she was never gasping or anything, sneezing, then a little clear discharge out her nose and congested, been 3 days and the congestion is almost gone, no more sneezing or discharge. we were frozen solid and covered in fog for a week, was very cold so I think some sniffles from transport turned into an URI

We got a locking mailbox, and hubby cemented it into the ground after someone stole the previous mailbox. They were however, nice enough to leave the mail on our doorstep.

We went to the metal 'dump' in Elma a few weeks ago to drop off some metal DH had collected, and watched a few guys in a PU come in behind us with an entire PU load of mailboxes.
I had to laugh, they all had addresses still on them!
Somewhere they stole all those mailboxes & turned them in for scrap metal.

I hope the recycler won't accept suspicious loads like that! A couple years ago, just before soccer season, someone made off with all the soccer goals in North Bend. Dirtbags desparate for meth money.

thanks for the link, the feed stores are getting pretty bad about things anymore, they dont carry much in the way of things an actual farm or ranch might need, its all about carharts and dog food anymore. they dont even carry tylan powder! which I have used and works fine. my horse vet said if I needed the injectable she would order me some. she is pretty cool about stuff like that, she got a couple big orp pullets from me and loves them, says she brags on them to anyone who will listen cause they are so big and gentle. english birds...

Read this one web page, and surf others, once MG is contracted, it is passed from hen to egg

http://poultrykeeper.com/chickens/health/mycoplasma-gallisepticum.html

Explore.
There is a vaccine against it, but it seriously inhibits egg laying....so so many of us have avoided it.
Best of wishes and DO keep all water fonts with the bleach solution in them, as a precaution.
Wild migrating birds do carry this, and it is widespread during the spring & fall migrating seasons.
IF you have the bleach solution you will not have issues with colibacilliosis, or other birds contracting any disease from any sick birds.
Not just the sick hen you have, but the others.
You have to expect all were exposed.
You DO do the bleach solution, don't you?

Want me to ship you some?????
My Tylan is liquid, and is drawn in a syringe, and intra-muscular injested.
the best way is to have Denagard.
In their water, so easy, and they drink it!!!!!!!!!!!
AND add the required bleach solution to the same water.

My FIL is the founder and retired president of the Veteran's Memorial Museum here in Chehalis. The last 18+ yrs of his life have been spent preserving the stories of the men, women and animals that have given their lives for the freedom of others... sadly, even for those who do not appreciate it.
It is very sad to see something like that happen to those who have given their lives. What's more sad is knowing that many people could care less.
One goal I have is to make sure my kids have a tremendous respect for our soldiers: past , present and future! Thanks Vets!!!!
Freedom is not free, many have willingly paid all!

I wanted to add that if you ever get a chance to stop in and see it, you will be overwhelmed with the job he has done putting all of it together! It's amazing!

This a sad report, but it only tells part of the story. Most people have no idea what happens with cremation. Cremation does not burn the larger bones. There is always a lot more remaining body and ash, than anyone gets back in a urn. The crematorium only returns a small portion to the family. This happens to all bodies that are cremated. I learned about this about the time my daughter died. So it is normal for everyone who have been cremated, to have the a crematorium to dispose of all the rest of the remains disposed of into a landfill. I would think that most families would rather not know this information.

The military spokesperson said something to that effect and also said when they learned of it in 2008, (contractor did the deed), they offered families "burial at sea" as an option, but it was not disclosed what would happen if they did not choose for burial at sea.
