Yep, you can tell from the grill and hood line the car is a 70 Buick GS. Buick is my 2nd favorite car, Pontiac is where my heart is.

This is an original unrestored (except for paint) car, 48,000 original miles. he wanted to trade, as much as I love the firebirds... nope

I think I see the Issaquah Grange in the background, not quite sure as I don't see Buddy Holly's tour bus which I think should be behind that car. Is that out by XXX Rootbeer? Nasty grease burgers but the rootbeer floats are great!

LOL, so how did it all work out? Sounds like your priorities are right on track sister!

Unfortunaately, I ended up driving him to the ER at 1 am because he tought he had a slipped disk. Nurse said it would be a few hours so I drove home, started some laundry, got in my jammies and wen to bed. I just started to doze off when I was called to pick him up. Dr. said it was just a bruised back, but he gave him some big pain pills. He slept in the basement because he did not want to go up the stairs, and we have a hospital bed down there. Back to be at 3 am. Stooooopid alarm goes off at 6 am! Then I drove DH to Bellevue because DH was in too much pain. I sat in the car and read a book for 2 hrs while he waited to see his Doc. This doc said he has an inflammed disc and inflamed muscle, gave him some bigger pain pills. I had Alex with me so we stopped bt Marenako's for some flagstones. Alex had taken a pick-axe and smashed some on are patio and walkway, so I had him take all the Visa gift cards he got for his birthday and he had to replace the stones. Came out to $113! I paid the $13. Whenever anyone asks me what the kids want for birthdays and such I always tell them Visa or MC gift cards, because I use them to replace all the stuff my kids destroy. DS was not happy. Then we stopped by QFC to fill the percscriptions. Got home and DH vomitted, luckily out on the driveway, so I hosed it down. He has been vomitting all evening in the basement bathroom. I hope there is not too much splash. I'm ticked at him, he brought this on himself. I think the pain pills are making him vomit. He is a hypochondriac, and takes everything the Dr's prescribe. His side of the bathroom looks like a pharmacy after an earthquake. I wish he would take care of himself. I wish he would not take a pill for everything. I rarely medicate myself, most things will pass just fine without any medication.

I think he is feeling somewhat guilty. He noticed that I go down the stairs one step at a time, and I was carrying a big bowl of water to wash up the puke. He carried it for me when I saw and asked what is wrong with my feet. I've only been walking like that for 3 years since I dislocated my knee. I feel it pop when I walk downhill and am afraid I will hyper-extend it again, so I go downhill slowly. (No knee pain going up). He's a good man with a big heart, but I wish someone would have taught him how to do some work around the house, and that you don't need to run to the doctor for every little ache and pain.

oh parenting takes a backbone sometimes, doesn't it?
feel for you - sounds like an exhausting, not terribly rewarding day
what are your holiday plans?

I vote Glenna! only cause what I can see of the comb kinda looks small, sometimes, I've noticed if that comb is larger it turns out to be a roo. But, I have been wrong before!!

Like the name by the way!!

I was leaning towards hen. Comb is very small and no color whatsoever. And CR, it is 'raven-ish'. It did have a little white bottom when hatched, but feathers are coming in all black. (Just like CL said they would.

Yep, unless it's a late-blooming boy, that's a Glenna!
