Perusing Craigslist again - just in case I see something useful for something I don't need, like tiny chickens. For folks up north, I did see a couple of small x-pens for about 1/2 price what they are new. I loved these last summer when the chicks were small and I wanted them to enjoy some sunshine. These could also be used as a brooder for inside the house for winter chicks. The listing is in Seattle.

No cheese cake today..I am after loosing a few pounds myself, like at least 30...........50 would be perfect.
hard enough to do so while the knee is still weak, the weather is nasty, and I am limited at what I can eat.
I cannot live on a vegetarian diet, my disease will not tolerate but 1 small salad a day...and can only tolerate so much dairy as well.
I can eat all meats & fish all day though..so I am shooting for the mainstay low/no carb/no dairy tpe diet.

I have an old rose. . . It is a cutting off one brought over from England by George Washington's grandfather. It is a Rosa Mundi or Rosa gallica vesicolor. Anyone want starts off of it?

I also have a big rose at my mother's house that gets hacked at every year, so I don't know how big it is supposed to get. I have not been as successful in getting starts off that one. It has hundreds of single (five petal) white blooms and gets large yummy hips, which can be used for jam, etc.
