Birds of prey are terrified of being ensnarled in nets & wire...if at all possible they avoid it.
Quite a few times we have seen folks run 50# monofilament back & forth over a fish pond or bird run to scare off birds.
We called it the "no fly zone" and it quite clear so did not make the yard look so weird.

Yesterday we saw 2 adult baldies & 2 juveniles circling....so it is a matter of time here as long as I let my birds free range.
The big eagles usually buzz the place & move on...I am sure they see the nets.
Only birds with no nets is my turkeys, and there is no eagle that can pick one of them up.
At first sight of any over head bird, ALL the roosters sound the alarm and ALL the birds hide.
