Wow, the formatting and all on this new lay-out is not growing on me. I see there's a quick-reply window down here, which I am now using, but I can't figure out how to quote and reply to a post. I wonder what the framework is for this look- not anything I've seen before, and I'm fully twenty years online now. The right-hand sidebar is especially distracting, and I can't imagine why anyone would have thought it useful. And there are standard clickable icons for coding a BB post that have been in use for at least a decade: for the most part, they are not the ones chosen above. (and you can't hand-code, I see, which is going to slow me way down, ugh).

It's almost as bad as the Live Journal "upgrade" and that has the excuse of being designed by Russians.

Still really cranky if you can't tell. Griz's little escapade with my breakfast has resulted in unpredictable blood glucose levels, which means I'm on a short, short leash for at least the rest of the day, the sun is shining, I have tons of work to do, and short of carrying a lunch with me I don't dare go out and get too involved with anything for fear of getting lost on the planet. And all the waterbunks were frozen this morning, so I'm behind as it is.

ok, it's been about half a day, and I'm getting used to it. In Fact, I am liking it a lot! Posting is easy, and formatting text is really cool; lots of new formatting tools available.

Going out now to collect eggs. Got so many already, making either broccoli or sweet potato souffle tonight to go with the pork chops.

Boy it's cold today.

As for the new layout, I'm not minding it. I'm just glad that BYC is live again! But I have to say that posting is really slow. Glad the e-mail notifications are working. I'll have to try posting pix - I really did not like the upload functionality before and am excited to hear that we can now post from our PCs.
Did I mention that posting is REALLY slow? The text isn't even keeping up with my typing...

I have no idea why some folks are having such a hard time; mine is just fine. Have any of you recently de-fragged your hard drive? Doing so can really speed things up if you have serious fragment problems. Also, if you have a bazillion open apps that will slow things down too. (Close anything you are not using)

Hotmail changed a while back and I don't like it either. LIKED the OLD way better right at the moment I can't remember how the old way was

I have a macbook pro.... works fine. I also installed windows on my mac but i havent tested the site on this. Safari and Google Chrome work well. Chrome works best... but all my bookmarks are with safari.... I guess being 22 makes me more computer literate than the average age of most members on here

I am glad my mom got a new job and it will have benefits and health insurance... but it hasn't kicked in yet... and my non insured prescription adderall refill went from $80 to $350.... -twitch-
I don't know how people survive without insurance.
Also on another note I got a speeding ticket sunday on my way back to WSU... i sorta spaced out on the straightaway and the cop got me on the corner.... 75 in a 55... $175... hoping to see if i can get it reduced some.....
