OK, I am trying to plan ahead. I have two incubators going with two different batches of eggs. I'm worrying we may lose power tomorrow if we get as much snow as they are saying with high winds as well. Any ideas to keep the eggs warm besides shoving them in my bra? There's way too many. 21 Serama eggs (which we totally forgot to candle on Sunday/Day 10!!! Will have to do that tonight) and at least 2 dozen BLRW & Marans eggs........Don't want to lose them!!! Our power has already been flickering on and off today.

I think this might be the ones. I havent found the info yet. On the old BCM yahoo group is were I found the place.

Anyone seen anyone on BYC with Swedish Flower hens yet ?Just
Curious.
Tamara you may have to sit up with eggs in your lap just as Hallerlake said !
Careful not to fall asleep & break any eggs.
Boring to do all night with no power or TV to watch...scarey if you fall asleep & crack eggs !!!

Tamara, maybe if you get a nice warm Orp hen, and put her in a crate in the house with nice nest material...she HAS GOT TO lay down in a smallish crate.
You can stuff eggs under her & cover the crate with a towel (to block light) and she should just set.
Easy in a storm solution.
Can't think of anything else !

A few years a go we got over a foot, Tonight and tomorrow we are predicted to get up to 7 inches. A foot seems BIGGER than 7 inches. We weren't here in 1985. But I do believe I am ready. I just got back from the store with supplies.
I just watched this video. CR is right... Big Brother wants to know everything !!!! and they pretty much do now!!! They pretty much know our EVERY move ! The bad news ... is its going to get WORSE !!!!!. My landlord called me the other day, he wanted me to help him fill out this form. Probably because I have chickens. he doesn't have cows any more.

I hope everybody are ready for round TWO of the snow. this is suppose to be the BIGGEST since 1985

Wish I could loan her this broody Buckeye hen I have...she is non stop !!
And yes, all birds will lie down when it is dark (and they cannot roost) so I'd keep a hen in a crate, in the house tonight, just in case !!!
If the power goes out, slip the eggs under her, she'll never know.
Watch her in the morning if she has day light she may wake up & poo on some eggs...gotta get up before the bird does.
Keep her in a closet LOL
