We were
going to make a run to Elma to visit with Mom & Dad and maybe do some laundry..........
But no can do.
It has been raining & so far NO ICE STORM but guess that can change.
I have given up on trying to clear downed & snowed on netting.
Birds do not want to come out anyways.

When they DO come out, the ripped netting has to be UP or they can become entangled.
But so far, we still have a foot of snow, very heavy & almost impossible to walk through.

I am staying inside !

Me thinks we should cancel today for lack of interest & just get on with tomorrow.

The weather heads are STILL claiming WE are to have a freezing rain ice storm.........I liked the raining frogs idea much better.
Hope everyone's power stays on!
Freezing rain can take out power lines fast !

Advantages to living in the city? the only perk i know of is called Bellevue Square... otherwise keep your Snowmageddon... i will be happy with 4+ feet any day....
Overhere at WSU i can tell who is a westsider from how they drive. Portland people stick out for how they tailgate. every localization has its quirks. i am always curious what the westside thinks of east side people.

I think Eastsiders are annoying when they generalize about what they think are the quirks of Westsiders. But I forgive you since you may have had too much vodka.

I think "Eastsiders" don't get enough moisture to allow most of thier brains to fully develop.

Saying prayers for those who are out of power and need help. Sadly I am too far away to be of any help to any of you. Seriously folks They are saying this is going to be a nasty "ICE STORM" so get ready and stay home you DO NOT want to be out trying to drive in freezing rain.

Just got text from Red Rooster. She may not have power until tonight or tomorrow. Her cell phone is going dead and sheis losing chicks like crazy.

I have to get out and get Michelle's four wheeler and tractor unstuck and in the barn so they don't get froze down !! ! ! ! Be back in a bit. I hear Centralia is relly gettig hit right nowand they are only 20 miles so I fear it may be here soon too.

well i am going to finally go to bed. i have finished the size of the baby quilt i wanted. slowly putting the piecing together... i am now down to just putting the colums together... then the columns will go together....
Tired, but i made progress.

glass of milk before bed.... and the milk tastes like ice cream.... its slushy too.

The lighting is not the best.... i have it laid out on my floor... no room on the table....
I don't have a pattern that i am following... just something simple, squares and triangles.... this is the 3rd quilt i have ever made. not bad right?

good job for drinking and quilting!! LOL!
