Can't complain about that - word of mouth is sometimes our best advertising! And yes, my cousin Rich is the guy with the mustache. He is very knowledgeable about wine making and spirits...

In addition, cousin LOOKS so very Italian & winerywise

well, we did a massive coop clean up today :woot

during the inclement weather, some moisture got into the sand in the coop, and the mix of sand and poo kind of SOLIDIFIED :sick

so I shoveled, and DH shoveled ... we broke the shovel but at least we got all the gunk out of there

took the nest box out, cleaned it all off, and filled with nice fresh shredded paper

threw some DE around, then added a bag of fresh sand ... and there's another in DH's car trunk, waiting for DS to help us move it

I managed to get the first one up on my shoulder, but had to stop halfway out to coop, back was all cramped up -- DH massaged and I got it the rest of the way) :th

found one of the recycle bins we'd put in the run, was full of water, so that got bailed out and dumped :barnie

five eggs in that nest box, and DH had gathered them yesterday, so guess the gals are back in full production :love

smartypants Phoebe found an old stump to hide under and cogitate; I almost went crazy trying to find her, the other five hens and the roo were clustered in the chicken tractor, ready to go back to the coop, but Phoebe was totally out of sight ... finally I heard this little murmur, still couldn't see her, so I took the PVC and whacked all the branches of the Indian Plum around the oak tree base, and she finally appeared out from under this stump where she had DUG IN ... :rant

I didn't have the capability of crawling back under there to see if she'd left an egg behind .... either that or she's going broody

I recall , several times, with quite a few pateints each...their coming in to the Oral Surgery Office where I worked...making the appoinment ahead of time............and in they came, and I would seat them & take patient info...so here sits this 24 year old thin woman with her mouth open & unable to close it...and after so much time the mastication muscles were rigid !
Bare in mind, she had seen her Dentist a day before & was referred.
She could not close her mouth.
More Common than you think.
I let Dr Johnson know...and he went in to see her & massaged & manipulated her Temoral mandibular joint & mastication muscles to relax...and she shut her mouth.
By now she hurt bad !
He gave her instructions & home she went...only to reappear the next day in an emergency appoinment.......once again walking about, mouth wide open & stuck.
There have been many many patients in just that sort of scenario~~~~~~~
Getting muscles to tighten is really not hard...small exercisies to "clentch" or "occlude"
What is bad is trying to get them to loosen.
The mastication muscles are the hardest voluntary muscles we have in our bodies !
Crushing muscles !
Massage, warm paks...manipulation, bio feed back, lower stress, and as said before, avoid the gum chewing.

Edited to add:::: It does not hurt to RELAX and have a few nice glasses of wine.
Things that are bad::::: STRESS especially bottled up stress, kids, screaming , fighting with spouse/kids/co workers/traffic.
You get my drift.

Oh my gosh the gum chewing, NON of it... I didnt chew gum for years and years. Im just not trying to chew a little of it once in awhile..

I'm headed to the kitchen to pour out my orange soda and pour me some wine. If I can't find any, it will be whiskey. Not sure what I will dilute that with, I don't like it straight. I have V-8 or milk. I'm thinking V-8!

If it is good Whiskey or Scotch......always dilute with water

Anything other is a "why bother ?"

I have good bourbon, glenfiddich whiskey, Bombay Sapphire Gin, Bacardi Rum, and Kahlua. (and a bottle of strawberry schnapps someone left behind, yuck.) Sherry and vermouth too, but I use those in cooking.

But now I'm craving for a bloody mary and I have no vodka ... Dang ice maker is broken too - stopped working after the power outage and I have no ice. No ice needed in my bloody mary.

With that expensive refrig you have ??
Maybe check it for gobs of ice that prevents it from turning.
The best thing for you is not alcohol necessarily but relaxation & KNOWING IT WILL ALL BE OK~~~~~~~~~~WORK stress can get you !!!!!!!!
