Posting this for all the horsey people here...it's Stacy Westfall's 2006 Championship run, even non-horsey people will like this, she rides the horse with no tack.

I cried when I watched it, this mare is no longer with us, she cast herself in her stall and there was too much damage to save her, she was also in foal, and they were unable to save the baby. The song Stacy rode her to is ironic....

I cried too - partly her story, and partly because of the horse video I'm trying to post here. It is the sister of one of Olivia's best friends at the Snohomish Fair this fall (I think she's 13). It was on the second anniversary of their father's sudden death (hear attack early 40's). I was bawling when her mom posted it to FB. They moved to the dry side right after this, but I ran into mom in Ace last week, and I started crying again. I was hoping she would not see me, but she did, and we both were standing there looking at bags of dogfood and crying.

Hey guys quick question... Does anyone in here breed EE. I am thinkin of gettin one maybe 2 babies for my boys.

Looking for anything in particular? I breed blue laying, crested, bearded EE's with color varying from gold laced to mottled to wheaten to spangled to sometimes even tolbunt in color. I also do "olive egger" EE's - Marans x Araucana crosses, nicely sized birds who lay olive green eggs like the darker green one in my avatar. They're clean-faced, some might come rumpless, and some might be tufted but I usually keep those for myself unless they're tailed.

I have some crested/colorful blue layers due to hatch in 3 days, and I have two young pullets right now almost at the age of laying, one buff and one normal EE colored, both blue layers, but, I'm kinda far too.

Thanks for the tip.

I have had Google Chrome installed for some time. Just stuck in a rut using IE.

BYC was soooo slooowww this morning. I read your post and thought, duh!

Switched to Google Chrome and the browsing experience is oh so much better.

So far, my puter is much faster, e-mail is like lightening fast !!!!!!!!!!
I mean right now !!
Usually this time of night I am licked up !
We (with comcast tech dude) downloaded Google Chrome & he zipped through my puter like I was standing still.......I was blown away how fast he zipped through the web, forums, etc.
I was embarrassed.
But he said to keep track of records as I have done with connectivity.

I am extremely impressed with Google Chrome, although yeah...take some getting used to !

And the test at speednet show a 25% increase in both upload and download speeds.

Thanks for the tip.

I love that one, I cant watch it. Makes me cry everytime I see it. Heck it makes me cry just thinking about it.

Careful what you wish for LOL. First thought, How'd you know I was here? Then I saw the currently viewing! Very cool.

Breshcandra - your chick is adorable =) From what I've read (no experience) you can warm the eggs up but you will have a decreased hatch rate.

Here's my chick at 6 weeks

One of my silkies has decided to go broody again I think. I got the 2 silkie eggs that are were under her and pulled out the ones in the fridge. (they had been in there less then a week.) 6 total. Should I wait till there's more? I have only one silkie laying now if she went broody.

Yay, glad you are getting eggs! We are up to five or six per day now - loving it!

Yay! Someone must've been dancing cuz the hens started laying again about a week ago! Thank you for whomever it was that was doing the dance (and maybe sunlight)- we had amazing cinamon french toast yesterday morning.

CL - glad you're getting your internet fixed.

CR - you need to document your speeds and call your DSL company! and wow - taking down knife-wielding kidnappers?

It's supposed to rain all day here, hope it clears up long enough that I don't get soaked cleaning the coop!

Hope you all have a good day; dawn
