You could get away with the heist, after all most us would blame the Rustler for any missing hens. Just stay away from the white egg layers, cause we know that the Rustler can't be bothered with them.

"The City of Kirkland is now studying various City wide miscellaneous amendments to the Zoning and Municipal Codes. Based on an ongoing list of issues, code interpretations, requests from the public and from the Kirkland City Council and needs identified by staff, proposed amendments are periodically forwarded to the Kirkland Planning Commission and the Houghton Community Council for their consideration. The following list highlights some of the issues being considered:

• Minor Floor Area Ratio Exemptions (e.g. stairwells)
• Second Story Above-Garage Setbacks
• Backyard Chickens
• Non-Conforming density standards governing repair and rebuilding
• Standards for development adjacent to Hazardous Liquid Pipelines (Olympic Pipeline)
• Allowing Electronic Readerboard Signs at High Schools and Jr./Middle Schools
• Allowing Historic and Small Lot Subdivisions citywide
• Personal Wireless Facilities (minor modifications on cell towers)

"Study sessions are scheduled for the Houghton Community Council on Monday, February 27 and the Planning Commission on Thursday, March 8, 2012. Both meetings begin at 7 p.m. in the Kirkland City Hall Council Chambers, at 123 5th Avenue. The meetings are open to the public. To Rare Feathers Farm: hey, the worst thing yo can do is leave the board. That is giving some idiot CONTROL OVER YOU and that is nonsense. People like that need to be completely ignored and forgotten as quickly as possible. Only YOU can give that person power over what you do - and that's just a silly thing to do. What kind of people do you want DIRECTING YOUR LIFE? Good, kind, intelligent ones or assclowns like the one who wrote you?

Mamma Carla, I have one acre: 6' solid board fence around the whole thing, 7 pit bulls and one patterdale terrier on patrol... needless to say I have never lost a bird to any land mammal... but owls? OMG. It gets so bad that I have to keep a dog right out there in the pen with the young birds. Around here any chick that doesn't go in at night is dead. I've been told to get those red lights, a fake owl, etc. Haven't been able to afford them yet, just rely on the dogs. Maybe you could get a good, chicken safe dog to "babysit" the birds during the day?
