Yea, I think your talking about Chickie Lady, but, I don't think she is working with them anymore, in fact she doesn't have them, don't quote me, but I would PM her, she's on her all the time, so she'll see it.

Hello! I am pretty new to BYC... and chickens in general! I must admit i have a problem collecting chickens... :) They are just so much fun and I am loving getting the eggs every morning! We are up in Ferndale, WA... I have 1 turken, 2 Americanas, 1 banty, 1 barred rock, 1 (not sure, kinda like a barred rock, but a little diff...) 1 Polish Crested rooster ~ Poppy, he is pretty crazy..., 5 black astrolops, and 10 buff orphintons, incluing 1 rooster. we are currently collecting our eggs to put in an incubator soon (probably try with abut 24 or so eggs...) then in a couple months i will be breeding out some of our hens (the buffs with the buffs, a couple friends have a barred rock rooster and an amercana rooster) so that we will be some pure chicks.

i am also getting a couple silkies at the end of the month... i just think they are the coolest things! I have yet to find the purpose of them, but oh well. i look forwardto getting to know someof you!

I am going as fast as I can and not catching up !
Glad we have a nice sunny day though !

Back to work~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OK I think I got it....
heritage breeds = Have been here in the US for a really long time like pioneer times, they meet APA standards, are slow growing, can mate naturally and have a long life....
non heritage breeds = are those of which are new to the US.
Exhibition = means they are show quality. So they can be either Heritage or Non Heritage Breeds
.

By God I think she's "gaut" it!!! LOL!!

Thanks for the welcome! :)

My computer was acting up earlier and not typeing all the letters i was pushing! :(

I agree with the the goat/chicken... cant have just one.. we also have 2 goats, getting a few cows this weekend and pigs soon after!

So you have ducks too.. i am thinking of getting some of them as well... :)

I love the picture of the horse!!! :) That is great. I was not happy to see the snow on the ground, but so thankful for this sun! We were able to clean out the coop and start to get ready for the silkies and chicks! :) Maybe ducks too...
