See ya there Michael.

I hope you all have a great time at the Stevenson show; wish I could be there.
Yeah, me too- but this spring has been endlessly complicated and I hadn't realized that it was already time for Stevenson. Rats. I really wanted to go, and to stay at one of the hot-springs spas for the weekend. Stupid reality.
I think, like me, you will just have to wait for the photos. I want to see CR's booth and all the people too.

Sometime this weekend I am hoping to rent a cultivator to turn the garden bed over one more time before I plant things. I am late this year but not as late as last year. I also need to get some seeds started in the greenhouse now that I got most of it cleaned out. I will be even happier if I get the Begonia bulbs planted in their baskets.

I have 2 Bantam Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Hens (Kamaria, Poppy Seed), 1 Bantam White Sultan Pullet (MoonSprite or Moone), 1 Standard Wheaten Ameraucana Pullet (Tytonidae or Tyto), and 1 Bantam Mille Fluer D 'Uccle Pullet (Rocky).

I live in southeastern washington : Walla Walla. Anyone live near here?
Welcome! Lots of new people. I know there are quite a few from the dry- side. Days like today I wish I was one of them. I live in one of the worlds most beautiful places, but I so want sunshine now; that and a spinach salad.

Got home a little while ago after taking my little "foster" chicks to their new home. My friend who will be raising them is a professional photographer, (actually does weddings, families, babies, glamour, boudoir) so she just took a couple of little snapshots of the babies that I thought I'd share. She'll also be coming with me to Stevenson so if you come to our "open house" tomorrow you'll meet her! (She and I have been BFF's since high school which is... well, more than a few years ago).

These were precious, thanks for sharing! And I hope you and your friend have a great time at Stevenson, wish I could be there.

I want to join you with the salad. My DSiL makes the best spinach salad. He makes it with strawberries and candied pecans.

I agree so much about wanting some sunshine. It wouldn't be so hard to move away from Western Washington, except there isn't any better place when we have a warm clear day.

I'm going stir-crazy here. Want to get out and do thing and see things. Fresh snow on the mountains every time I look out the window. Will winter ever end? Everything but my leg feels fine now so I end up overdoIng it one day and spending the next in bed watching movies and cursing myself for standing too long the prior. I wish they would just bind the bandages so tight that my leg can't fill with fluid when I stand.
Ogress, would wearing compression socks or hose help?
Hope you're feeling much better soon!

Welcome to the thread. I know of a couple of people that post here that are sort of close to you. One member is in the Tri-Cities area, and the other is in Outlook.
