awe... nah ur not, I probably would of made the same mistake... soooooo many breeds look similar, that you have to be a complete Chickie Guru to tell them apart by lil quirks...hahaha Pink I woulda just said, well maybe some have pink skin.. not thinking its a totally different breed...hahahaha

After some research I think they are Cuckoo Marans... I ordered them from Ideal so after looking I think those are it.

Ricky retardo is , GONE ???????????

Yes I posted it when it happened. But I know you are busy lady so ya might of missed it. A week ago last Wednesday I let the girls out to free range and Ricky wasn't with them so I went looking for him. All I found was a pile of his feathers with blood on them. inside the run No carcass or any body parts at all. So it had to be a eagle or a hawk. I checked all my fence. nothing went through or under it. and with all the electric fence I have I'm sure nothing went over it.
So your Buckeye roo is going to have to step up to the plate!

On a brighter note. Kim came over today and helped me worm ALL my chickens ! she is such a sweetheart. but those of you that know her already know that! Thank you again KIM !!!

Well, it has been yet another sleepless night, thanks to Einstein's infernal snoring !
I am exhausted and have work to do but zero energy.
I have 2 paintings to do & so exhausted I cannot even think about it.
It will have to all waite til tomorrow, providing I get sleep tonight.

So sick of this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

have you tried those nose things for him and ear plugs for you? Might help. Other option is he needs a CPAP machine. It is actually detrimental to health to snore really hard/loud.
