Okay, "quote" is not working for me:

CR: LOL. All my birds are small and spindly you wouldn't want them.

Nature: I built a bucket with nipples...I can't get the birds to use it. Course I still have their bucket of water to dip from. I dont' want to take it away from them. How do you teach them? I tried to hang something shiney off of it so they would go for it...but NO. Still nothing.

I've had one for four or five months - tried teaching them how to use it - nope. I did take the waterers away at first - but they still didn't find the water. When I gave them a waterer back later that day they all drank like crazy. So I never took the bowl water away again.

You have to take it away for a little while. Do it at night so they are thirsty in the morning and then use your finger to push the little thingy and make water drip. they will be curious and wanting water so one or two should then peck at the nipple and realize that water comes out of it. They will alway drink the "easier" way, but you can teach them. If they don't get it after 5 min or so, then come back in another 15 min and try again. If that doesn't work then put the original waterer back in and try again another day. Hope this helps!

Dawng- Huh, mine learned in just a few minutes. I am going to use them for my babies so they just grow up using them.
