Ok, call me crazy, but I just set 13 more Silkie eggs and 8 LF Faverolles, along with 7 Bantam Favs for Tamara, that I brought home from CloverLeafFarms.

At least if all 7 of those hatch they will be going home with her.

But the rest, IF they all were to hatch, are mine. I have lost my mind!

I also brought home a started pair from CloverLeaf too. Yes I am addicted and I love chicken math!!!

21 days and counting!!

Oh, did I mention that Tamara let me borrow her incubator? So I am having my first go, solo, at this hatching thing. 28 eggs, WISH ME LUCK!

You should be selling Used Cars!!! ya could throw in a dozen Brown eggs with every car

Brown & white eggs have the SAME nutritional value. However Aracauna eggs (blueish) do contain MORE cholesterol then white or brown eggs

This is why store bought eggs can be hard boiled & easily peeled....the membrane has so much disentigrated....................yuck, do they store them somewhere for MONTHS & then put them in grocery stores ???????????????

Hey guys I need help... My husbands friend has chicken and his broody barred rock has a patch of dried skin on her belly. I dont know the details but here is the picture I was sent. Any ideas what it could be?

Broody Hens ALL go bald on their bellies !

Are you asking about chickens or Ducks? The duck waterer is quite different from the chicks, since they like to try and swim in it and as they are very little they sometimes drown themselves.

This is one of the chick waterers, but unless it's absolutley flat, it floods and makes a horrible mess.


So far, the best chicken water we have found, is actually a self watering dog bowl, that you hook up to a hose!

But still, they all can crap on & IN it.
