Just want to brag that I finally finished my coop, run, and tractor projects! (at least until we move to the country :p).

Wow! Great job, that's really nice!!! I can just imagine the look on the fabric ladies face when you told her it was for chickens! LOL!

Finally home after a busy day!

Started the day with the middle school bus breaking down, so had to drive my two youngest DD's to the middle school (25 minute drive ONE way!!!! From Monroe to Carnation!) Not a fun start to the day.

Then I visited with BYC'ers!!!!

Than I went to Rainwolf's and picked up two splash Ameraucana babies from Poseidon!!

Then I met JennS and sold her some BLRW hatching eggs!!

Came home, dropped off all the babies and got them set up, then had to drive BACK to Carnation to pick the girls up after their sports practices!!!!

Now I'm recovering from all that driving around before I make dinner!

OMG! I'm laughing now... but geez... just about had a panic attack. My husband just came into the house with a box that had been shipped next day air. The box has "rush" & "perishable" written all over it. He came in scolding me that I must not have cancelled with the guy I was planning to buy Brahma eggs from. I told him I never even gave him my mailing address. He didn't believe me.

We opened the box. There was a cooler inside. DH is still telling me I must have ordered *something* and it better not be eggs. I kept saying I didn't. "I swear! I didn't!" He's still not believing me. So we opened the cooler. Guess what was inside?

His eye medication! LOL!

Whew! I'm off the hook! I know I'm getting to be middle-aged, but I couldn't for the life of me remember what I could have possibly ordered.

Hahahaha, that's classic!! Great story, thanks for the laugh!

Hi y'all!!! Too many pages to catch up on!

OK so here is how we did at the fair-
drake (Spot) got second place old cock
hen (Blackie) got 1st place old hen } they all were hatched early May of 2011
hen (Booger) got 2nd place old hen

By the way they are all up for sale. I do not have the time or the physical stamina or energy to keep them any longer. This absolutely kills me but it is something that I have thought long and hard about and I need to do this. I would prefer that whomever buys them hopefully doesn't eat them and keeps them as pets. However, I also know that realistically once they are sold then it is up to the new owners to do whatever they want with them. UGH :hit

We will be keeping Daffy duckles tho! Of course! No other family would ever know or understand how to properly care for her royal highney!! :lau

If you are interested pleaas PM me or contact CR or CL for my cell number.

All but one of my coop windows are Tempered, Tinted PRIVACY (yeah the one way mirror stuff) Glass. Nothing but the best for my fine mutts. Speaking of I gotta go out and move some birds around real quick.

and DANG it is getting cold out!!!! lol yes it's an inside outside that I don't dare to tell or get in REAL BIG trouble!!!!

So I will share my lovely new dish mat. I got two of them, so that I can get them dry more often than I did with the last one I had.

I managed to build myself a cage for a bunch of little bunnies yesterday evening. I got to looking at things that are just laying around the house, and I found an old mini greenhouse. I was able to use the 4 shelves to create the 4 walls of the pen. Then I used some hardware wire, that I bought to line the bird cages with, and created a raised floor to keep them out of their own poo poo.

My new cage seems to working rather well if I don't say so myself.

Yeah I have long labors...hence the reason I WANTED to be at home and not stuck in a hospital where they wouldn't allow my body to do what was right on THEIR timeline. John's labor was 37 hours, Jeanine's was pretty easy and fast at 14 hours, and William's was 39 hours (and he was 2 weeks overdue!). I wouldn't have done it any other way!
