Ditto. Looks totally roo to me.

I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else.

I have a chicken that is acting like a rooster and I had thought that it was a hen. But she is doing the rooster attack dance at her hatch mate who is a serama rooster. She has a very small comb at this stage. She is probably 4mos maybe closer to 5mos.
She is a silkie/ EE mix

Definently a rooster. It has clear pointy hackle (red feathers on neck) and saddle feathers (on back near base of tail). Sorry!!!

I agree. You have enought nest boxes there, you should try a couple of different things. Cover half of them. Then put straw in one covered, one uncovered, shavings in one covered, one uncovered, I'd also do the covered one's, one with a curtain, one without. Then lock them in for a bit. They will find one they like and then you can duplicate it!

So I was wondering IF there is a place AWAY from the sale we could have a meet up Saturday ??? I have a few ladies that have earned themselves a road trip !!!

Let me think about it over night and talk to DH. Thinking cap is on - might not be functioning well right now, but it is on.

I've been pretty sick all day - if this bug doesn't blow over before the weekend, I won't be coming around anyone.
