We got our baby goats yesterday! They are adorable! I'm excited but a little bit nervous at the same time. We've never had goats so my knowledge is very limited.

Oh they are adorable!

I hope you have fun with them, and your kids love them. There are a lot of experienced goat people here if you need help.

I met Shyla-C this morning and picked up some beautiful glass chicken beads that she made for me. They are so cool I just had to share. She did black, blue, white and brown plus a speckled, barred and a Cuckoo! I had originally bought these with gifts in mind, but I'm not sure I can let them go now.

Can you send some to CR? They are most certainly still good - the pharmaceutical companies stick an expiration date on them for liability reasons - but a recently "expired" epi-pen is better than no pen at all!

I am serious about getting CR an epi-pen. I have shellfish allergies and when your throat starts swelling closed it is not a pleasant experience! If nobody out there has an extra I am going to start a collection.

I already said I have an extra, new one he can have.

Ok question time.....

I was wondering about the Mereks (sp?) vacine. I know that once you mix it you have to use it with in an hour, but if you have not even opened it how long is it good for in the fridge for. Or does it even expire as long as it is not mixed?

Expiration date is on the bottles.

OMG those are adorable. I just loved the chicken beads when she first posted the pic of them. These are even cooler with the different colors.

Cute! They didn't by chance come from the Enumclaw auction, did they? That'd be funny to see the baby goat who butted my kid at the auction. He's now very afraid of baby goats. LOL! Sigh. Poor kid, always gotta learn by doing.

Last hatch looks like I have 2 R/C LBL pullets (YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
and 5 Partridge Chantecler pullets & one Chantecler cockerel.
GREAT HATCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chipmunks every where, won't Einstein be so happy ????

This little booger would NOT hold still.







Also, so far have 4 Black Copper Marans X Crele Chantecler babies...who knows what that will turn out.
All are black & no doubt will have to be breed back to the Father as in the Golden Cuckoo "recipe"
