I have not idea on the sex of your chicks, but as far as trying to keep track of who is who one thing I do with chicks that all look the same is put a tiny bit of food coloring on my finger or a Q-tip and put it on their head. That way you can see who is who by what color is on their tiny little heads. And the kids LOVE it!

Is there a recommended "no peck" color? Man, these chicks are making me glad I'm not a chick. Three will fall asleep, then one will get up and one by one walk around and peck everybody in the eye! Every chick has been the guilty party and no one is getting sleep for very long. It must be a chick's version of "Duck, Duck, Goose".

So we went to Home Depot to just look at pvc fittings for my chicken run. Came home with a five and a half foot by three foot Anderson window.
Regular price $271.14 we got it for $30.29.

The chickens will have a very nice window in one side of their coop when we rebuild it. Was in the clearance bay and a special order from last year according to the tags on it.

Ok, getting that excitement out of my system.
