The maltby club doesn't look too bad. has a kitchen and enough tables and chairs. How MANY HOURS do we think we need?? six hours would be $190.00. thats reasonable I think.

city of Woodinville would be good too but way more $$$ I would bet

Actually I looked at this one too, and if we rent it from say 2-9, that would be 7 hours for $215. That would include set and clean up time. So that would leave us 5 hours or so of party time. I was thinking of earlier in the day so that people could get home by a decent hour. Any suggestions on time? I was also thinking about Feb. 28th for the date. They have that date open. I could go put the deposit on it next weekend and reserve it. Right now, if 50 people show up it would be under $5 per adult. So would everyone be Ok with doing potluck? I will check and see about having alcohol. We could all bring our own, or a couple of us could go to costco and then charge $10-15 per adult. Let me know what you think on date, time of day, and food and drinks.

ETA- If there is any left over money, it could go into a fund for the next get together.

The only problem with this stuff is that it is not food grade. It's plant grade. I would get food grade to use around chickens.

Well I am not sure we can make it (sure gonna try) but I do like the looks of Kim's plan. However I would like to throw something out for consideration. I think it would be best for people to BYOB ( if we get the approval) That way those who won't be partaking don't have to pay for it. I will be one of those not. I don't have a problem with drinking (I drink I get drunk, I get drunk I fall down, I fall down I pass out no problem

) ok seriously I like many others will be driving a good distance and will therefore stay "dry" and hope others driving will too. Just my opinion.

Washington State requires a temporary liquor license, for any get together like what we are planning. I coordinated a wedding a few years back in Tacoma's Point Defiance Park. The mother of the bride was the one that picked up the permit. I don't think it was very expensive or much trouble to get. I think I can ask her. I have a few places that I still need to check on come Monday. BYO works for me
