Thanks justbugged. That would be great if they respond. I also emailed, thinking that if they it wasn't gone I might be able to arrange something. If your daughter could do this for me, I would be greatful.

I am also looking to do meat birds in the spring. I eventually want to do the Rangers, but Cornish X is something I have never done, so if somebody else is going to order, let me know.

It is after 7:30, and not a peep out of the chicken coop. Using the light to fool Pinky into sleeping on a little bit altered schedule seems to be working. Yay!

BREAKING NEWS WOODY IS HOME !!!!!

I was just taking shower getting ready to resume the search when I heard the answer machine. Checked and it was our neighbor. I called her right back she told me woody is on the goat shed. I went right out to the goat shed and there was Woody. I started calling to him and he talked right back and came to the edge of the roof and waited for me. Now keep in mind that Woody is kind of a wild child. He just stood there and let me reach right out and pick him up. He was soaking wet and very ready to go under a heat lamp. I am sure that Woody spent the night on that roof in the rain. Now I jsut hope he will be OK. I don't think he will be ready to escape anytime soon. But until I find where he got out Woody will stay in the "chick coop" where he has been until yesterday.

My Name Is Bradley,My current Flock: Sally an OLD americana hen, and the new girls; 1-Delaware, 2-Black Australorps, 2-Buff Orpingtons, and 2-Rhode Island Reds, I got em at Bothell Feed in May as day old chicks, one of the "girls" started to crow in September he was a good looking Delaware, but We cannot have roosters in Everett, so he's living in Arlington with a group of Leghorn Hens and is very happy. One of the girls started to lay in September, now I get three eggs a days on average, the most was five a couple times. I don't think the Australorps are laying yet. I got this group of chicks because they are good winter layers (I have no lighting), better or excellent brown egg layers; and are beautiful birds.

A month a go I was talking about one of my two Leghorns laying rubber eggs or no shell at all. Well since the coyote got one of them, the remaining one has only given me an egg about once every 4-5 days. I was begining to think this one was my problem child,so last night I put her in another coop away from my Calif. white. This morning there was an egg splatter all over the floor under the roost. don't know what her problem is. I will give her till the end of summer to get straighten out. They get plenty of oyster shell. I don't know if she is eating it. I could put her in the coop all by herself for a few days but I hate to leave her totally alone
