Oh the AG stuff, our vet works with the state a lot and he called on it, he was told its just for people comming into Wa that need all of that stuff, and they are rewording it now as we speak.
All of my friends and I were going crazy becasue we show our goats all over WA and the 4-H kids and FFA Kids it would sure stop most of them.

and the Wa thread krazycricket21. Sounds like you're getting a nice bunch of chicks.

House Yak certainly is starting to sound like a plan.

Well I am not at all trying to stir trouble with Tailfeathers and am not disputing what he has said. However today I had a lengthy conversation with Dept. of Ag. due to an incident over the weekend (I won't go into on here). They informed me that only horses and cattle are considered livestock (at least for transport purposes). While I was not asking about poultry or water fowl. They told me that the animals I was asking about were not bound by the transport law.

I just find it interesting how they Dept. of Ag ( and most govt agencies) can't tell the same story twice.
All I can say is be careful and use EXTREME CAUTION if you ever deal with the auction that is currently operating at the fair grounds in Centralia.

Mikeyb if ya are ready Kaija's in Chehalis has RIR, cornish, Americauna and I think one other. They are from Privett and look like nice chicks. RIR were $1.69 and the EE's are $2.79.
Also for yer floor the flooring store on the hill above MacDonalds has vinyl rems pretty cheap. I got a 4'6" x 12' for $5.00 Just an idea to put on the cement.

Call me old, but I remember when livestock was anything that was on the hoof.

Roosters will crow all hours. If it's a bright moon @2:45am look out!

I keep mine on a light so when it goes out they sleep until sunup.

Welcome to the new folks.

The Monroe Farm Supply has the largest selection of chicks out of every one!
I would call first if your looking for a certain kind.

Geez I am so scattered tonight. Guess that's what happens when broken plumbing tries to interfer with my BYC FIX. Not to worry got the broken shower fixed. OK to answer the ???? about weave. Well as of last night I saw she was still farming so must still be kickin and not in the cross bar hotel.

Do any of you guys have kids?
I have a 5 and 2 1/2 year old.
I was also wondering if there was room for a frizzle silkie mix roo out there.
I call him Mr. Frizzle and i love him dearly. He is only about 4 weeks old and still
could end up being a she but i doubt it. He is sweet and loves to be carried around.
He is all black with a TINY amount of white. If he does end up being a roo i need to find
him a non food home.

Hi All. I am fine. Just not up to the communication thing right now.

I need to let you know that I will not be able to attend the party on the 28th. Long story. I hope there is a good turn out. I know justbugged seems to have bugged out on this thread lately.... But maybe she or someone else could post another invite in the chicken stock thread and get some chatter going. I hate to see it fizzle. I want to hear all about it when I get back from a little trip I need to take during that time.

I hope everyone is well and I look forward to coming back full of steam sometime soon. I'm just not up to it right now. Take care.

If Weave isn't coming to the party does that mean that were not getting our cookbooks?
I sure hope everthing is okay.

I have a 6 year old daughter and I will be having another one on May 4th. IT'S A BOY!
No need for frizz here, keep lookin'.
Did you put him up on CL?

Mike
