My little girls are all into what the shovel is about. When building the run, me trying to dig post holes....I had at least 4 young girls hangin' out to catch worms or any other bug.

Ha! As soon as I pick up a shovel all my big girls come running and flappin!

Do I need anything else? Oh ya Eggs!

Actually I have only been able to find a small cooler so far that will only fit a dozen eggs. Will that be ok or should I keep looking tomorrow and try to find a bigger one?

I saw her the other day, she picked up some DE down in Issaquah for me. She wants to come to the pig roast but will be out of town next weekend.

And she gave me a tub of bugs..

My girls are very grateful though

ETA: I'll be lurking in Bothell tomorrow evening if anyone wants to meet up for coffee or ice cream or whatever..

Depends, will it be your hatcher? I mean, I love my incubator, but as a hatcher.. it stinks. There's hardly in room in there for anything once it starts hatching. I'm going to pick up a still air for this hatch. I set a dozen turkey eggs last night, but there is NO WAY I'll be able to hatch them in there and allow them to move.

No, I would def need something bigger for that. This is why I am thinking that I would need a bigger one. Should I get a bigger one now or use it to incubate and have another one to hatch?

I'm so disappointed. My coop was supposed to come today, but I got an email this morning saying it would be Saturday instead. They did say they'd be throwing in a built in feeder for the inconvenience. My chickens will have to spend another couple of days at my son's house. Pooh!
