the goldish one looks like a BO to me, and Monicas was just saying she wanted some white Polish~~~~
The bobcat scream we heard close and behind our barn...sounded exactly like a cougar scream.
Even checked the 'sounds' websites and the two cats sound alot alike, enough to make you run like hell with all your body hair standing straight out...almost like a half human scream.
I know what you mean by the scream coming from right outside.
Super creepy huh ?!?!

And congrats on the hatching of your eggs! Hope everyone comes out ok for you.

What an awful day !
You set the eggs at 21 days ?
Turkeys at 28 days ?
Well, it seems they are hatching OK, or you have a thermometer that is 10 degrees off like I used to have...mine was 10 degrees too cold, so that hatch was 24 days !!!

The thermometer is calibrated correctly.....and the hygrometer so I have no clue what is up!(the only reason I know is because in my business we have to have the good stuff for drying out homes and businesses

Not really so majestic as it is more CREEPY when you walk into a lake into the mountains, turn around and walk out, and realize that there are CAT tracks INSIDE your tracks, following you in. Talk about make all of the hair on your neck stand up. We didn't have a gun, stick, knife....nuthin'. I have got a bit smarter since then.

I am thrilled !
But the dig-proof expensive coyote proof fence I just put in is no match for a bobcat...what a beauty it is, too !
So, off to bobcat-proof the pens now~
Had lotys of opposums before elsewhere.
They eat your tree fruit and dog food or cat food left out, and can be a pest with shallow fish ponds, but I have not lost a bird to a possum.
Rats are really bad, they can take eggs and chicks.
Snakes are bad although we just have racers and garters here and DH said he saw a big brown snake, must have been a brown rat snake ?
I am not sure.
Biggest pest here is the crow.
He flies in, walks right in the henhouse and steals eggs and brings lice and disease and there is nothing we can do but birdnet the entire half acre pen.
