LOL I love my my line of work. Its physically demanding, very dirty, sometimes hazordouse, "sp?" and NEVER boring! Besides, I'de much rather be doing what I do that standing behind a cash register again... Before I had Chloe, I worked for the Suquamish tribe, and lets just say, they don't treat they're non-native employees well. When I went on medical/maturnity leave, they fired me without any explenation. I wasn't exactly happy with that job any how.

You are a rare breed, and a beauty to boot !

I never did find what they rolled in. It was all of the nasty stinky little dogs that rolled in it, as in all 5 of them in the end. At least Big Dog didn't. It makes me think that maybe something was under the shed. Big Dog does need a bath real bad though. He is itchy, and is starting to dig clumps of fur out. He has a lot of hair too.

He has an appointment tomorrow with the dog doctor. He loves his dog doctor. lol Puppy has his thing down pat these days. He gets out of the car and either pees or poops
sickbyc.gif
on the lawn, then goes racing into the vets office and greets the girls

, he then races down the hall and jumps on the scale

and see how fast we can check his weight. He knows how to sit very well; he just doesn't have a sit.

he then pops himself into the room and then he decides that he may not want to wait in that small room with just mom, and nobody else to pay attention to him. Finally the Dog Doctor comes in and they greet each other and he gets his shot, and he is one happy dog. We then leave the vets office and drive down the road to the feed store in Buckley, WA he then get to check out the store and greet all the kids that work at the store, and finally he picks out a treat. We then can head home. Within a day or two he is no longer all itchy, and he is one happy dog.

With the bathroom now having a walk in shower, it will be some much easier to wash this big ole dog. I just need to find the energy to to do it now.

That is a rather pathetic ending to what should have been a rather gross ending. Sorry everyone.

I like Lifehouse. Darn it, I may be an old lady, but my kids have great taste in music, and they shared really well with me.

Geeze, I still like Smashing Pumpkins...but my daughter told me 5 years ago they were OUT...funny part is ALL the kids are into MY music: Stones, Doors, Janis...need I say more ???
I have pics of the poultry winners at our tiny fair...in jusst a minute~

Hi Robin and Monica! Can't wait until Saturday!!

Monica, pretty pic's!!! Your BLRW roo's brother is up at the fair! They look like twins!!!!

Chasehope: Regarding Chickielady's Golden Cuckoo Roo, she got him from me. I had thought he was a dud, meaning he hatched out of a pure Golden Cuckoo Maran egg, but he was black with a white dot on his head and as he developed I thought he was turning into a pure Cuckoo Roo, not a Golden. I have read on here that Golden Cuckoo Marans do not always breed true and that they can throw plain Cuckoo's and that's what I thought he was. In my egg order, the breeder also through in some project eggs which included Golden Cuckoo Maran X French Black Copper Maran crossed eggs, as he was working on adding feathers to the shanks of his Golden Cuckoo's. I have one of these crossed roo's listed for sale here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=4734567#p4734567
