sorry its been forever. i have been at WSU studying. mom and my bf have reported that in the last 2 days i have lost 2 chickens. the MO sounds like that of a raccoon. which is funny cos here i was worried about a big bear in the area. the head and the wings are torn off. i have gone from 79 to 77 chickens now. i tell them get a trap and the gun. would chicken breast meat be good bait?

i am at war. 2 years and now it happens, and they were happy free range chicken. oh how does one train them to go in a coop i finally got another but they been sleeping way up in the trees. clip their wings? i told john, secure the coop, raise the fence, clip a wing.

You all should have seen my back porch last night!!! There were SO many tree frogs everywhere that I lost count at 20 something! I LOVE frogs. lol I didn't get to see many frogs last fall, my Muscovys ate them all. But this year there are TONS of them hopping around.

Did I forget to mention that I love frogs?

I must say Hades is my favorite...I love the beetle sheen...my BCM X BlueAm OE roo we named Duke, has so much beele sheen he looks like abalone shell mother of pearl, and he has spikes of mahogany mixed in that is so beautiful.
For a cross roo, I think he is my favorite..Ams are such NICE roos it seems, has anyone ever had a mean one ??
