Hey! Nope--not yet. I am guessing soon...it's pouring rain right now and we have a fire going in the woodstove...ready for the 4 hour power outage we're getting tonight--with 8 bantam favs in the 'bator on week 2! ARRGHH
Is there a schedule outage for your area tonight? Is this going to mess with your 'bator? I hope you are able to work around it. I am so sorry for this. I know that the snow level is down to around 3-4,000 feet isn't it? 4,000 would be the top of the Loup. I pray all your eggs do well. I am sorry for this outage. Seems to me a 4-hour sheduled outage at the end of October is pretty stupid. We almost ALWAYS get snow on Halloween - well that is for the higher elevations and that was our theroy in the Methow....but it is cold out, why would they do this?
Yeah...and it ended up lasting 5 hours and 43 minutes. My incubator got down to 70 degrees and the humidity spiked to 85%!!! I ended up taking the eggs out and just leaving them on the counter (where we were maintaining 75 degrees....I put them back in at 6am this morning after taking the plugs out and letting it run for about 15 minutes....I am doubtful they'll hatch and Tuesday would be lockdown for them...
