My favorites at the show besides the cochins, were the English Orpingtons and the Crele Chantecler. Who knew there was a crele Chanteclere variety?!?

Oh! And the Seramas! There was an entire row of them! So fun to see all their different color variations. Can't wait to get eggs from Jbear at the spring show in Monroe!

He won't stop growing until he's 5.

btw, thanks Chickielady for the photos. LOVE Steve Waters' unbeatable white cock!!

btw, were there ANY Ameraucanas there?

And, what was the gorgeous Crele bird? He looks like a Brahma with clean shanks and a rose comb. . . What was he? Anyone know?

nevermind. . . Chantecler.

Holy crap a CRELE Chantecler?!!!

See ya'll soon!!

Is there anyone actually in Spokane? I've seen a few posters as I scour the forums in the Valley or outside the city limits... But, I live just off of Division on the north side! I think I have the ordinance stuff down...but have no idea if I can get feed/supplies locally for the little flock I plan on putting together come springtime! Northwest Seed & Pet is just up the street, do they carry stuff (and/or chicks? When so those come in if they do?) or is there an actual feed store hidden in town that I just have to find? Also, I haven't seen anything about where I need to locate my run/coop. My planned coop is the storage shed located in my backyard, I'd like to put the run behind it near the fence line (the shed is in the corner of our property with maybe 15 feet of clearance from the current fencing). Is there some number of feet I "need" to have? Just so the code enforcers don't come and nail me to a wall, lol.

Anywho, I'll keep looking as I haven't had much luck in the "imput" department yet...and I have a few months before anything "needs" to be answered. (Coop renov. starts in January!)

Great show, nice to meet everyone, no cock is unbeatable unfortunately, and parking was free.

I'm happy with how my birds placed. Sheryl ended up with Reserve Champ FL. I couldn't believe how nice some of the cochins in her sale pens were.... she's got nice cochins.

Hope you guys will consider Stevenson in the Spring. I think there's been talk of not having a monroe show, so if you want a monroe show please email the club pres and VP to encourage them to still have it.
