I can totally relate to that !!! I live right under the flight path for the A-6's. Years ago I decided I was going to do something about it. Well after many calls I found out it was NOT USAF but rather USN from Whidbey Island. We also get the BIG cargo and once in a while the "bat wing bomber" no that sucker will sneak up on ya and cause a need for a change of breaches !!!!

OK so at the show down by the "golden goose" there was a lady that had a bunch of silkies? ( I think that is what they were). Was that one of you? If so do ya remember trying to get some out for somebody and the top kept falling so some yay whoo held it up for ya. That would be me.

ROFL! No, didn't get the rex wine. First I chose a chianti beloved by Jen (the other one), then a bottle of sparkling pear juice for the kids, then a bottle of raspberry wine made in Chehalis. Three bottles! Was my lucky night!

The weather held long enough. It was starting to snow lightly as I left the pass, I don't know if it continued because as soon as I got home I put the birds away and crashed, still wearing my shoes.

Yes, I hadn't eaten all day so was starved by the time we got to Denny's. Then it took so long for them to even come take our order that by that time my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I ordered way more than I should have! Then over an hour later when they finally brought me the chicken fried steak, it was so bad I couldn't even finish it. And if that ain't bad enough, the stuff kept wanting to remind me all night how bad it was and I didn't have any baking soda water to drink! Ugh!

Hope you made it hope without any snow or trouble. Two years ago I drove about 20mph at top speed just to make it home in that snow storm. That wasn't fun and I sure wouldn't want to attempt going over the Pass in that stuff.

I haven't heard anything about a Spring Monroe show being cancelled. It's a pretty big show so I sort of doubt it but definitely hope it's not.

So, did you happen to take a 47 Pound Rooster named Rex home with ya? If you did, you'll have to let me know what you thought of it. I think it's pretty good.

God Bless,

. He was referencing a wine that was in the wine raffle. I think the heaviest bird in the showroom was my token, affirmative action, goose. There were some pretty big cocks and cockerels there- the cornish are heavy, the chanteclers weighed more than I expected, and the orpingtons are massive.

Heather,
Sorry for your loss. It's unfortunate that their life spans aren't as long as ours. At least we get to have them as part of our family for awhile.
