Are you all excited yet!? Tomorrow is the LONGEST day of the year! Winter solstice! That means more day light! Granted its very gradual, but I'm looking forward to longer days!

These are most all the eggs this olive color:

So to make a long story longer...eggs from #1 source were OLIVE EGGERs: black copper marans X Ameraucana and those eggs were HUGE and dark brown and the babies hatched black as seen here and given to the broody.
Those eggs were given to me by a super nice person...and the other eggs were bought and shipped from within WA, as Blue Ameraucana.
Those eggs were also large, and sky blue!!
Beautiful!!!
And those were hatched in the incubator as well, and tucked under Bernice in the night....she is THE BEST broody mama.
Any way....I told ya already Illia, I was bamboozooled with olive eggers and the blues are olive eggers too.
The person that sold me the Blue Ameraucanas for $40 a doz, had a marans in the wood pile..........

OH does it not seem that all falls apart at the same time ???
Even still, it is indeed the winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year, the longest night, and those of us that practice Wicca will rejoice ! This is the season of, and the celebration of LIGHT.
Stars, suns, moons, strings of lights, lights up and down the driveway...to bring back the sun !
I know, it sounds so REAL doesn't it ??
It is the darkest days winter and we have a festival of lights...Awesome, understandable to this very day, and very real, to this very day.

You are most welcome Sweetheart, and call him when ever you have an issue, he has been hands on and manager of over 5 different GM and JEEP dealerships.
He can diagnose a vechicle by hearing it drive by. He can smell a car and know what is wrong.
He owns over $80K in tools, and tool boxes and engine hoists and stands and jacks..........

and yet we live in a lawnmower barn.

But, we need a truck, so if you really want to sell it, call me (us ) and maybe we will buy it.
