I'm running MSFT security essentials and every once in a while I will download the latest Malwarebytes. I've not been able to find anything other than an occasional tracking cookie.
Don started out in NT about 23 years ago, then he did a lot with Windows, and then handwriting recognition software, especially Asian language versions, a brief stint in Auto, a longer one in Platform, and Silverlight for the past few years. I'm not sure exactly what it is that he does. Most people have their names and positions posted on their office doors. His door simply states "GIDI Guru" or somethig like that. I know he hunts down problems in other peoples code, fixes it, and makes stuff a lot faster and moving pictures and print clearer. I'm not a computer person, my field was pharmaceuticals. It's all foreign to me.
Just had to run to the school. DD called because she forgot her lunch. I think she was trying to get me to let her come home because when I got there her eyes welled up "...and Mom, I'm not having a very good day. Someone took my pogo stick during PE and then my teacher threw a snowball at me and all the kids laughed." The girl needs to toughen up! I'm gonna tell the teacher to make the snowball bigger next time!
