ME!!!!!! And WA4-HPoultryMom...have you considered cochin bantam as you can have more of them than LF cochin ?
Large Fowl Cochin are HUGE birds.
They eat alot, poop alot and take up alot of space.
They also need roosts very low, and are slow moving.
I think RareFeathersFarm also still has some cochins.

Check your threading and use a brush to clean the lint out of all the doors and openings. Do you still have the instruction manual. while you're at it give it a good oiling. Especially delint it if you do lots of fleece...

I have several clean legged Cuckoo Marans pullets that will need rehomed.
I am keeping the feather legged ones.
Hopefully these girls will lay Jumbo medium dark chocolate like their Mom's do.
Will talk about it later, I got to get ready to go to CRs !!

Keep me in mind a little bit. If I get to keep the farm and IF I get the addition on the chicken house. And if I get my applesauce together. I really really want more chickens ...

The snow by the Vanc Mall was all gone by the time I headed for home but driving down my road and pulling into the drive I still had patches where I am sure the daylight missed earlier. Are we done with this stuff for the week? I be it gave the news crews something to get excited about and dig out those "winter blast" coats and hats.

Why Thank You! they are really cute and one has already used the food dish to jump out of the nest box and roll down the ramp. It then went thru the fencing that the guy at the feed store swore it would not fit through.

it ended up with the other hens then tried to go back and then it got stuck. I heard it from the house peeping away so I went and saved it. his feet were cold but the rest was still warm so I dont think he had been out there but a minute.

Mine does the same thing if I do not clean it often..especially quilting, there is MILES a day of fabric that goes through my machine.

but I did pay for and download the pattern.
I love the idea of wearable art, and it is so nice and warm.
I have had sooo many compliments on the jacket and so many people that want one.
I urge all you quilters to do this, just cut out 2 of each piece of the jacket, and a layer of batting between. (I used cotton on this jacket but use the polyfill on my quilts) then machine quilt each piece, then sew them together as per the directions.
