Have you noticed if there are a lot of honey bees on these when they are in bloom? I am always looking for things that my bees will like and be able to get some good food from which in turn converts to some yummy honey for me and others.

I let my ducks out for little bits at a time. 15-20 minute spurts. Their webbed feeties are huge and they help regulate the temperature of the duck. Now remember that I spoil and baby my ducks more than "normal" peeps!! But I don't want to run around outside barefoot for very long in this weather either!!!

Actually, they do. But butterfly bushes will really bring them in.
The geums stay in a tidy clump and all 3 are green thru the winter. The other 2 are a little more rangy, kind of the cottage look.

That works great ! I have done it in 2 of my tabletop incubators, and actually DH went to Radioshack, bought 2 fans and a thingy that lowers electricity, those square box things you plug in ?
Get the right one to drive the fan, and a tiny control knob also from RS..and I can turn the fan way high, or down slow with the little knob.

HI ALL !!
I have been a couch potatoe all day, watched the Daytona %)), baked awesome GF sourdough bread made with kefir..raised so nicely..and hatching more & more chicks.
I think the 3 day hatch has a total of 14 game (Aseel) chicks..pretty little boogers, all different flavoes, belonging to Bolddog.
We will meet up with her to hand them over as soon as this weather gets a tad bit more pleasant, like Saturday ?!?!
Got all the strawberries planted from WA4-HPoultryMom..awesome berries.
And I got a few of the big raspberries planted that I dug from my Dad's/ He was delighted that someone would dig them up..they are trying to go under the fence into the garden, and over to his lawn...heck ya!
Dig them up.
I know they get astronomical amounts of berries daily off their 4 bushes..so I have extras for Cheryl.
AND lockdown for W & BW Ameraucanas on Saturday...my incubators are very busy...and Delaware eggs shipped this morning should arrive Saturday at the latest...

It is a zoo of babies here..and hard to introduce older ones out to the coops in this cold.

Hope I did not miss anything important, I am too pooped to go back & read, and still pondering bring MOT to the show, he is so beautiful despite his long back...should I ?

OH, and have 7 Purebred California Meat Rabbit bunnies to go..let me know.
I hate butchering in this cold with my Raynaud's syndrom and no running water.

Ooh, I like the idea of having speeds to the fan.
Will have to go to radio shack to bug the guys there to show me the gizmos and how to hook it all up.
It will be a good stand by hatcher/ incubator.
Or better yet...I'll just have a bigger capacity for more eggs!
