Yes Rus I would love to give them a try but location location location. I don't get up that way so would have to try to find someone who would be willing to be the messenger!! The bad part of living out in the STYX. The good is that I can have all the noisey critters I can tolerate!!!!

OK, I'll give it a try. Can't hurt, and if they start I can mail them.

I think the light purple are the original ones, but don't quote me on that. Like the one on the right in my pix. It is a lot more floppy than my white or pink ones. I see the light purple ones alongside of the road (405). Funny though, only the white one seeds in my yard, and only in cultivated organic dirt, not the lawn or clay dirt. Maybe that's why Ogress has a problem with them. I have a neighbor with at least a 20 year old Mimosa. They are famous for being aggressively invasive, they have never had 1 seedling. I'd like to see the dark purple broodytood, maybe a pic this summer. There was a house on the way to the grocery store that had either a 3 way or planted 3 colors together. Burgundy, white and a 3rd color. The 3rd died out, but the burgundy and white, mixed together, being very striking.

I have no incubator so I'm safe. It pains me, but at least I'm safe (for now). Can't speak for the rest of you with those big beautiful incubators though. Even those nice little Brinsea mini's and Eco's could handle those eggs quite well. I do think I'll sneak over there just because I'm a looky loo and see how much those pretty eggs are up to now...

I'll enable you. haha
want to make your own incubator?

Good luck but I hate to be the bearer of bad news ..... The beeswax lip balm won't help them get out of the shell and they don't take money for bribes either.

Yes, but they will have soft chicken lips.

Got the woodstove cranking and its just now getting comfortable. We had alot more snow out at our place than in town. And boy is it cold, not as cold as alot of you others. They sent us home early today from work because so many of us live in the outlying areas.

Eagle2026 Arent those dishes just cute. I fell in love with them and I have to show them to everybody. Never had square dishes before.
