On a side note, I'm going to start building a new coop soon with hopes to hold about 15 standard ladies. How big should I make the coop? It's 4 sqr.ft per bird right? I've been thinking along the lines of about the size of this here shipping container. Maybe flipped on it's side so that its 8ft wide 5ft tall and 7ft deep. Then put it up on some legs and wheels. Add some siding. A ramp and a roosting pole. I think that'd be a perfect coop...depending on whether its big enough.

ok so if the price is right that would be three of us. We just need to call now and see what they say. I can do it on monday if you want, dont think they will be there on Sunday...

Hmmm - if I got 2 we could attach them back to back, put on one roof on the whole thing and get a chicken duplex.

What kills them? The light from the LED or the fact that I'm disrupting the temp of the egg?

I think both. I dont remember where I read it or heard it but it made a lot of since to me. Some people candle at 5-7 days than again at 18 and that seemed to be fine. Dont toss the eggs..

I didn't know who Tudy was. I looked it up on Facebook and found a Romanian politician by that name. (He is absolutely gorgeous by the way.) I figured that it was unlikely that was who was being mentioned, so I waited for a better explanation. I up for the picture in Monroe.

I am kind of disappointed in the Tudy that we have to get the picture with, now that I have seen the Romanian dude. I might be a bit old, but I not dead yet.
