I have no issues with the idea of the procedure. I have had metal taken out of my eyes enough times that I can walk the Dr through the job. It is just that no job and no ins pretty much makes it a no deal.

My MIL & Dad had them done too.
Doctor wanted them to wait 6 mths between eyes & we watched the entire surgery from a huge glass wall.
It looked like easy money.

6 yrs ago I got to have lasik. I walked in blind( I couldn't see to count fingers at 3 ft.) and came out reading sticky notes from across the room. I was scared to death but I'd do it again in a heart beat.

CR- if you go to PCLI in Chehalis you should let me know so my DH can come up and give you a hard time. He's known to be a big joker. We could take ya to lunch or somthing. Not stalkin just offering!

I have a large horse trailer and will measure tomorrow, might be able to get two of them in there.

And FYI I don't even think about stalking. Now if I was to see somebody hiding around the corner and peeeeking at me then we would have a problem. I mean heck I wasn't afraid of CL asking me to meet along side the freeway!!

I think I have figured out tthe reason I seem to not be seeing so well. I have cataracts in both eyes. Also today I found out through the grapevine that a good friend was on his way to Seattle he has Cancer. I am a little hurt that his DW didn't tell me but maybe she hasn't had time. He also just had heart surgery and I haven't been to the house but (Iknow this is no excuse ) but I have had issues of my own and the last time I talked to his DW she said he was home doing good and needed rest.

I guess I can't win maybe I should have tried a little harder. Life sucks right now.
