Set up starts at 2pm Friday, coop-in is 6-8pm.

Are we going to have two tables at Monroe, next to each other????

Yep! At least that's the plan, assuming I don't come down with this garbage that DH has had the last couple of days!

BCM is on my list for our little flock. How old are the ones you're cutting back on and when do they have to be gone? I'm asking because since the rain has stopped coop building for the moment I'll have to put the Pips&Peeps Ameraucanas I'm getting on Saturday in either our bunny cage or flight cage, so room is an issue until the big coop is finished. I'll only have room for one BCM. It is SO hard to limit myself but we have room for 6-8 birds!
Thank you,
Dana (aka Sadie Sue)

Ha good luck! I started with 3 birds. That was the absolute limit! A year later we have 7 big girls, 3 in the brooder about to go outside, and I've got 20 hatching eggs coming next week and 4 day olds coming from a hatchery in May. Our new limit is 'until someone complains'

And I have a Brinsea arriving this week. This does not bode well. I'm a little bit afraid.

Illia is correct, Its not the food I feed my chickens, its the breed, although I do give them rice bran and flax. Rice bran is high in fat so I have to watch the amounts but it makes their feathers glow and helps with egg production. The Exhibition Orpingtons are huge also. The Light Sussex hens are about the same size as the Black Orp hens but my Black Orp boys are bigger than the Sussex roos. They are humongous. Most of my Black Orps came from Korfus Kluckers. She has awesome birds.

We're building a bigger coop too. When they outgrow that I think I'll have to get a bigger yard

I'm lucky though my neighbors love em! We had a rooster that started crowing so we had to get rid of him and turns out our neighbors were upset he was gone because they liked hearing him.
